Jordan Posted 14 November 2007 Posted 14 November 2007 Tomi Petrescu ...I was surprised to see this thread go on for such a long time before Martin Keown was mentioned--that was a ridiculous little spell here he had. What happened to all those kids who kept showing up as substitutes in '01 and '02, Jon Stevenson etc.? Edit: Leicester Fosse had a player named Septimus Atterbury. Leicester really had a player named Septimus. Awesome.

Leicester really had a player named Septimus. Awesome. In this month's edition of When Saturday Comes it has an article about Finnish football, mainly about Tampere United beating Levski Sofia. The picture is Tomi Petrescu leaping in celebration over the advertising hoardings after scoring their goal in a 1-0 home victory. I also quote: "Speculation after the [Finnish] title win centred on how much they would ask for the 21-year-old starlet Tomi Petrescu, not whether he might decided to stay anyway"
