davieG Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 The BBC are running this at the moment so rather than spend money texting them what do you think? I've added the 'Other' option for those who don't know theses LCFC Legends. in the words of Delia 'Let's be havin ya' Leicester's cult heroes Football Focus asked you to nominate your club's cult heroes. We received thousands of emails and Leicester City's top three, as chosen by you, were: Steve Claridge Steve Walsh Frank Worthington Now we want you to honour one of these players with the title of Leicester City's all-time cult hero. Original Story
stez Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 i voted other because i would say gary coatsworth for 'sorting' tommy johnson in the '94 play off final. the choices up there arn't technically cult heros as i see it, they're folk heros as most of the folk in leicester love 'em. also if i remember rightly he got injured in that game but stayed on the pitch to get us up and never played again
foxesfan69 Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Gone for other because Muzzy is mine. I am only 14 so can't really remember that much in the past and Muzzy is my hero.
Frenzied Posted 4 March 2005 Posted 4 March 2005 Can't believe there's no Lineker. Not only was our greatest ever goalscorer but he also played a massive role in saving the club.

Not only was our greatest ever goalscorer but he also played a massive role in saving the club. 74553[/snapback] I would vote for Frank even over Gary. However you make a fair point and Gary has to be one of this Club's biggest heros.

Louise Posted 5 March 2005 Posted 5 March 2005 For fans of Walshie (and golf), see what he's up to now here: http://www.celebritygolfholidays.com I love Stevie but that statement on the first page just makes me laugh so much We arrange some of the best golfing holidays on the Costa del Sol. Each is hosted by either myself or one of several other celebrities who all share my passion for the game. What we offer is so much more than a package golf holiday. You tell us what you want and we will design your trip to fit your wishes as closely as we can; then there’s the added attraction of playing along side football legends and celebrities.
Louise Posted 5 March 2005 Posted 5 March 2005 Aw, they just did an interview with Walshie on Football Focus, he said he misses us Now they're interviewing Taylor
gjp Posted 5 March 2005 Posted 5 March 2005 Walshie was class and watching football focus bought back memories of those great days out against the sheep and boro
