samingram_uk Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 They were just discussing it on the BBC. I know what i feel right now
gasman68 Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'm A bit worried about the 70% of you(when i voted) that would possibly vote for "etc" instead of England winning the World Cup?!?!?!? Does that mean Play-off finals,Coca Cola Cup,Intertoto or would you just take anything over a World Cup win?
Lovejoy Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'm A bit worried about the 70% of you(when i voted) that would possibly vote for "etc" instead of England winning the World Cup?!?!?!? Does that mean Play-off finals,Coca Cola Cup,Intertoto or would you just take anything over a World Cup win? Errr, yes! Club over country every day of the week
Webbo Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Seeing as we have this discussion at least once a month I'll say what I always do; England.
Raj Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Born in Leicester. Live in Leicester. Mood swing affected by the results of leicester. tattoed by leicester. Gotta be Leicester. Wish i was born in the London subborb of Highbury,it would have been far less heartache!!!
Phube Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Wish i was born in the London subborb of Highbury,it would have been far less heartache!!! Don't say such evil things... apologise....
Bluefoxtim Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 England were knocked out, I was a bit pissed off for a couple of hours but....I would rather Leicester won the Carling cup than england won the world cup. The hype surrounding England etc, just totally puts me off.
jerakin Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Enland loose, pissed of for 5 minutes. When Leicester lost FA Cup Semi to Spurs I cried for weeks. I was only 12, but I think I would still roar!
DB11 Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'd rather Leicester avoid relegation than England won the World Cup, never mind Leicester winning the FA Cup! Club over country ALL THE TIME!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 socerros are gold so no need to vote really we have super timmy cahill if in doubt put it out and bring on supper timmy
The Stig Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I don't feel anywhere near as much passion for country as I do club. City all the way.
crisp monster Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 i'm not from Leicester so it's country for me when City were decent and won things a few years back people were really pleased for me but nobody really gave a toss wether we won or not. if you're in the city or town where success happens then the feel good factor affects everybody. although there seems to be as many Liverpool shirts as Leicester ones in the city when i'm there if England won the World Cup, the country would go bonkers the downside would be the players would have their heads EVEN further up their own arses its England for me because thats what i am before anything else. you lot are nuts!! send em to the gallows
Finnegan Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 Leicester or ENGLAND? , Leicester. Leicester or Wales? Wales.
jumbo mills Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I would rather leicester beat cardiff on monday, than england win the world cup
DB11 Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 You should have called this Club or Country? ...
mickydeeeuk Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'd rather Leicester win something, so for a change i can lord it over my Man U supporting mates. so its just more specific to us as Leicester fans. rather than England winning, as the passion might be there but the rivalry and banter with my mates isnt there, cuz we all support England anyway.
Zingari Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 leicester winning today has not lifted the gloom of england 's failure to qualify for the euro cup so , i think it must be england given the choice
the_bowman Posted 24 November 2007 Posted 24 November 2007 I'd rather Leicester won - I feel much better being part of a smaller group - if Leicester won the FA cup then Leicester fans go mental, but if England win the world cup the whole country goes mental In a nutshell - more gloating rights
