Hullfox Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 A mighty 14,036 people turned up to the ricoh tonight for a mighty fine 1-1 draw against 9 men S****hrope ... LMFAO They took 11,000 to Old Trafford. They appear no better or worse than us in truth.
MPH Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 They took 11,000 to Old Trafford. They appear no better or worse than us in truth. um, have we had a home game under 21,000 attendance this season? i dont think we have
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 They took 11,000 to Old Trafford. They appear no better or worse than us in truth. 14,000 is a bit shit mate.
Ric Flair Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Looks like Cov could be in admin by the end of the week unless something drastic happens with their takeover.

Staf Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 I really cant see Dowie staying there much longer there club is a mess and 14,000 is pathetic
Maybes Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 14000 hahahaha. How we love them Even forest in League one get better attendances than that.
Hullfox Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 14,000 is a bit shit mate. It's a lot shit. I just get fed up of people making out we're something special when we are not particularly.
Blue Bob Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 It's a lot shit.I just get fed up of people making out we're something special when we are not particularly. I agree with your point that we are nothing special on the pitch at the moment but I am impressed that we are still getting some of the biggest crowds in the division despite the turmoil and crap football that have had to watch that in itself is pretty special.

We would be in the same situation as Cov if it wasn't for free ticket's being given away evreyweek.
Stevosevic Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 We would be in the same situation as Cov if it wasn't for free ticket's being given away evreyweek. But they're not.

That's mostly down to the number of optimistic, 13000+ ST holders, who given the chance to buy during the Megson and Burrows era would not be quite so keen.
Matt Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Last 4 games they have. Yeah to a few people, As far as I know Tuesday was the only big free ticket giveaway. We probably almost meet Coventry's 14,000 on Season Ticket Holders alone. I think we have between 11 to 13,000 Season Ticket Holders, not sure but think its something between that, I'll admit Tuesday we had a lot there mainly due to the free tickets, but the rest of the time as far as I know not that many tickets are given away for free.
DB11 Posted 28 November 2007 Posted 28 November 2007 Dowie would have been suitable for Plymouth had they not got Sturrock in

Some of us older ones can remember getting less than 10,000 week in week out down at Filbo. I don't want to appear to be knocking us on the fan front, obviously we are better supported than Cov but as a support we do really need to take a look at ourselves and as they say, people in glass houses.... How many tickets will we sell for Burnley away next week? Of course many people will have the "work" and "other commitments" excuses but these same people managed to get to West London mid week in the cup. How many would we get against Cardiff without the freebies?
