Manwell Pablo Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 What does this mean for Gerry? Guiness.
Rodders Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 What does this mean for Gerry? [/quote Nothing, necessarily. The OS says that Breacker and Bulpin are "assistants to Holloway". Penrice is "head of recruitment". So no reason why Tags can't stay on as coach. But then, that's up to Holloway I guess.
Kilworthfox Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Gerry will not be as he like Stowell looks like becoming part of the furnature, also Olly did on his arrival say he was looking forward to meeting up with Taggs again as he remembered him as a very good player. Not the statement of someone who would be about to leave!
Jimmy Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Taggart was Milan's appointment not Megson so he won't be going anywhere, personally I'd put him in charge if the reserve team and let Beaglehole concentrate on the youth team
Ric Flair Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Taggart was Milan's appointment not Megson so he won't be going anywhere, personally I'd put him in charge if the reserve team and let Beaglehole concentrate on the youth team Think that might happen in time.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 What does this mean for Gerry? I'm sure they said at the time of the press conference that Taggart and Stowell would be staying. Burrows left as soon as Ollie arrived, so if the others weren't being kept on I'd have thought they'd have gone by now
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 We've got more first-team coaches than fit strikers.
Ric Flair Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 We've got more first-team coaches than fit strikers. Get Penrice up there, he was like a fatter Micky Quinn in his prime.

Scow Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Link - LCFC OS Some Plymouth fans say he'd be a bit clueless without them. Can't think of many managers that do everything by themselves.

Plymouth Pete Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Get Penrice up there, he was like a fatter Micky Quinn in his prime. Penrice was an excellent scout during his time with us (Plymouth) will be sorry to lose him.
The Reverend Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Good, sounds like these guys are pretty key to Ollies previous successes.
The People's Hero Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 Penrice was an excellent scout during his time with us (Plymouth) will be sorry to lose him. Dib dib, dob dob.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 Penrice was also a tasy litte striker when at The Gas. Centre halves taller than 5 ft 2 ins ate him every match. Bum, bum.
