Tommeh Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Great topic Fez been waiting for this one. 1) Corts goal at chelsea. Unbelievable stuff, I literally couldnt believe it. The feeling from this goal will stay with me forever. fell 4 rows but didnt give a shite! seeing the goal on youtube even talking about it still sends shivers down my spine. 2) Clemence goal at forest. Again incredible, great feeling close to corts except just compare the 2 achievements - beating a rival league 1 team. Goal to lead at arguebly one of the best teams in world football in their own back yard. Corts goal just edged it. 3) Fryatt's goal at Bristol C, was like a welcome Mr Holloway goal great celebrations and up our end ran down the sisle then down the steps, brilliant. 4) Outside after chelsea. The blue army marching the streets of London looking for the coaches all in full voice chelsea fans watching us in what I suspect was envy. the banter with the London police etc. was a brilliant end to an epic night. 5) The 20 minute "martin allens blue army" chant at accrington, uncovered terracing, absolutely throwing it down with rain, thracians unbrella, many tops off it was brilliant. Shame the rain stopped imo! Boy we've had an eventful start to the season and a doubt very highly many clubs can match that. Its never dull with City and thats just the way I love it. Edit: foooooooook forgot about the 2nd goal at palace and the mad FT pile on which followed forking manic!!! Great day also even though we lost it in the last minute.
Floating Fox Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 Thats just half the season. Lets hope for a nice away run in the F.A cup as well and bring on more memories like these.
Manwell Pablo Posted 29 November 2007 Posted 29 November 2007 I'd forgotten about the second goal at Palace. I love you all. Ah yes, the sequence of events that lead to me owning my own little part of Selhurt park. Which I still want back btw Alex.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 November 2007 Author Posted 29 November 2007 Ah yes, the sequence of events that lead to me owning my own little part of Selhurt park.Which I still want back btw Alex. Bring it on Saturday Alex! Mabs is going to the Coalville & Whitwick WI annual dinner dance with Joyce from Finance so he can't make it to the football.

My parents were meant to lump it with the ski stuff, so it could well be somewhere in my room. Only time will tell. I wish I could get to sleep.

Raj Posted 30 November 2007 Posted 30 November 2007 1-Meeting Ian Ormonpops In Nottingham. 2-Sitting next to that Tom geezer from Kasabian at Forest Part 1 3-Meeting Big Gibbo in L1 4- Meeting Ian O and Fez outside The Walkers. 5- Meeting Berty in L1 This is in order of Events happening and NOT in order of importance. If it was, then obviously meeting Tom from Kasabian would be number One!!!!

maddog Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 1. Campbell at Chelsea 2. Cort at Chelsea 3. Fryatt at Villa 4. Mc auley at Chelsea 5. Beating Watford 4-1 I found equalising against Chelsea more amazing than going ahead. No Forest in there because they are a League1 side and a team we really should be beating easily
oundlefox Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Might find room for King's screamer against Southampton with Watford, Chelsea and Villa performance thrown in. And us letting Forest walk a goal in just to show our true sportsmanship.
Plymouth Pete Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Heard a rumour that you lot are going to win at home one day, hope you get it over with before we come up there. You may have a couple of our players by then.

Webbo Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 1: Finding a parking space on the same day that the Tigers were at home. 2: I had a lovely cup of Bovril at half time once. 3: Managed to stay awake at Sc##thorpe. (I'm not sure if that was a blessing or not). 4: Errm, that's it really.
