Master Fox Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Lindsay Lohan is my supplier. She want's to be part of my millionaire plans though. Yer 'aving a laugh, woman. Don’t get me wrong Nasir, having ambition is a good thing. But I’m going to pick some fundamental flaws in your plans unless you can prove me otherwise. Anyone can log onto the internet or pick up a copy of the financial times and look at the current stock market. Everyone monitors the housing market too, so just how combining this delusional idea with spouting some ridiculous 50 cent b*llox on Foxestalk is going to make you a millionaire I don’t know? My fist question to Nasir would be how are you going to raise enough capital to invest in these company’s to see at profitable return if the share price increases? And secondly, I’d hazard a guess you probably have just the one mortgage already which you’re currently paying off meaning you’re not really a property developer or the tycoon you think you are! Back to the drawing board me thinks
James. Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Go for it as far as the charity thing is concerned - if you can deal with the ridiculous (but in retrospect, necessary) red tape, you'll find there's a lot of satisfaction to be had.As far as money goes, fingers crossed. The area I'm looking at is microfinance. Fascinating area. Essentially it involves lending small sums of money to the poorest people so they can make a new start whether it be opening a small business or something like that. It's about bringing entrepreneurship to people as a way out of poverty. And it works. Muhammad Yunus's book about the Grameen Bank was the inspiration. He won the Nobel Peace Prize last year. Well worth a read.
Finnegan Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Oh an entirely unrelated note, this is the funniest thing I've ever seen right here.

Well worth a read. Yeah, heard bits and pieces about it before. Never heard of that book though. To be honest, I've got 10-15 books I've either started or am meant to be reading, but I might add it to the list!
Alexikokopops Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Oh an entirely unrelated note, this is the funniest thing I've ever seen right here. Where the fook did the sumo wrestlers come from?! I can't wait until the next installment. If this picture of Larry Blackmon (yes, that's actually his name) is anything to go by we're in for a treat!
Thracian Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 When I was in Secondary shcool I wanted to be a venture capitalist or a hedge fund manager, I was the real life Gordon Gekko, I knew everything there was to know about the Stock Market and Real Estate, during lunches while most of my friends where involved in kicking a ball around and getting it on with the girls (the white girls, I got that white girl, I just had to put that in ) I was at the library checking on the markets, had this "Get rich or die trying" mentality, I didn't really care what it would cost me, even if it meant being a sellout to my own friends, I wanted to make money and I wanted it badly. My goal back then was and still is to make a £1m before I'm 30, and that's just a start, my ambitions are sometimes way too scary. For a while I convinced myself that making money the right way, the legal way is better, but lately though, I'm starting to feel the pressure, the money hungry, cold hearted, wall street wise killer in me is fighting to come out. I'm going to go get that million, like Mal said, by any means neccessary! **** friends, **** feelings ....**** love. *I got that white girl I wouldn't eat yourself up about it. As far as I can see wealthy people have a shit load of problems just like everyone else and they're often big, expensive ones. Glad you're happy with the white girl. The secret with girls, I'm told, is full filling their needs, or should that be fulfilling? I was never sure. The message was a verbal one not a written one. Mind you, can't say I'm anything but a big fan of Asian girls but in my experience - admittedly over 40 years ago - it did seem to upset their brothers. Strange that. Cos, just like you, they seemed to like white girls well enough. I'll never understand people.
coale39 Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Oh an entirely unrelated note, this is the funniest thing I've ever seen right here. 45 seconds in.... WTF!
MPH Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Oh an entirely unrelated note, this is the funniest thing I've ever seen right here. OH MY GIDDY AUNT. people talk about the 60's and 70's being defining decades.... but the clothes and the hairstyles of the 80's win it every time for me when it comes to comedy value.....
lookwhaticando Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Picking up on something here, does anyone EVER sleep right through the night?I just don't do it anymore. Fucking hell... is that what turning 24 does to you? I thought the shit didn't hit the fan until you were at least 30. Do I have to readjust my expectations for the next 2-3 years?

Back to the drawing board me thinks Aye Master Fox. You don't become a success story over night. It takes time, planning, sacrifice, patience etc. I think I smoke one too many Cuban cigars late last night so forgive me if I came across as a property devoloper or a tycoon. As JTB nicely put it down, I do realize though there many more important things to life than becoming filthy rich. I live a good enough life, I have a good family close to me and I enjoy life at the moment. And surely you not calling me a 50 cent fan or imitator! -- What, just because I'm black and because I still ain't over the Rodney King saga.

In fact I'm blacker and uglier than Benjani Mwaruwari and Shaun Goater combined. The secret with girls is to listen. Listen. It doesn't matter if she talks more bollocks than Dave Basset or she moans and whines more than Steve Bruce, just listen to her. Girls like good listeners. But Cheers.

Do I have to readjust my expectations for the next 2-3 years? Oi I'm 24 in a few months time. Just because TPH doesn't sleep right throw at night doesn't mean we all don't. As Charlie Hunnam would put it, all that means is he can have a wank quicker than the rest of us.
Finnegan Posted 7 December 2007 Posted 7 December 2007 Finners presents part two. This one's far more "classic" but it's the codpiece back in action, and some of this dancing is immense. Oh yes, kids. It's WoRd Up! Finners. King ofo 80s Cheese. Word up!
