I didn't say you couldn't, as I said if you want to have a discussion fine, your the one who went off on one as I'd quoted you instead of TPH. Hence the statement

The clubs will always have the fans though, his performances in the last three of four games have been under par but this is not a reason to hang him out to dry we know he's a good player, he's career record speaks for itself, we should be backing him, helping to achieve good form instead of knocking him down as much as we possible can.

He's the Captin he's abliged to give his views and speak on behalf of the sqaud I'm afraid. Some of what he has said has needed to be said by someone.

Fair enough.

I was more pissed off you picked me out and quoted rather than anyone else. The statement I made was about the players not putting much effort in. Nothing related to booing or anything like that..whcih to be fair when you watch sometimes its like a few of them cant be arsed

I think Holloway and Clemence are putting pressure on themselves by acknowledging the booing because anything other than a win or a draw through a late equaliser is seen as devastating by our fans. WBA will be a big test.

Yep, i can see them turning us over big time unfortunately

I agree, ignore the booing and show what you are made of on the pitch that's the only way to win this battle. This just provides more ammo for those that boo.

We agree!

Hurrah!

Saturday I'm going to be supportive - sing and back the team etc. But if they come out with the same old shite, I'll come back on here and slate the team. Even when we back them, they do shite so what can they expect.

I think that clemence has been one of our better players this season although the last few games he has not been at his best in my opinion he will be back to his best soon

He's only trying to liven the Walkers up a bit, which is what is needed, instead of hissing and booing all the time.

There are reasons for Walkers being a easy place to come and play for the last 4 years and our pathetic boo boy sit down and shut up crowds are one of them. And the players would say that as well if they could do so without causing a up roar.

And do you think coming on here reading about how shit they are is really going to help them. Booing a player who wasn't even fit for the game that he put a poor performance in, when he's hardly had a chance at the club, do you think thats the way to get this team performing.

Do any of you actually care whats best for the team, no in short you don't, you feel a bit let down that you've spent £20 on a football ticket and we haven't won, so you boo kick and scream spit the dummy to make yourselves feel better.

Let me clear something up, you don't have the right to be entertained because you've paid your entrance fee, football matches are gambles in terms of entertainment they always have been, if you don't like that, don't come.

Damn right.

I haven't read through this page, I've only read the first page but can i just say...

Stop being so fooking negative! Clem has come out and said what everyone wants to hear, and it is very encouraging.

Furthermore, everyone moans when we don't get kept up to date with our clubs affairs and then when the club captain comes out to tell it how it is everyone jumps on the negativity bandwaggon and comments that actions are better than words and what not.

At the end of the day, he's set the agenda for the games to come and I think the response can only be one thing, get behind the lads will you?!

I really do hate people who are full on nagative about everything that comes out of everyones mouth, no doubt this post will be slated for being not very good grammar or possibly something else petty like that.

So i say again, let's do our bit, get behind the team and just possibly we might create a more positive atmosphere in which this club can progress from.

Some people in this thread are far too nagative for my liking. I'm off to the Hatton v Mayfeather fread.
