Bryn Posted 8 December 2007 Posted 8 December 2007 by other people. Clemence has received moderately negative reviews in the player ratings for a few weeks now, but one week and one anti-Clemence thread later, and the whole forum seems against him. Just an observation.

Bellend Sebastian Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 I'm sure he's a better player than recent performances suggest....well, I know he is because he was a lot better at the start of the season. I'm a bit worried that our Captain seems to have become affected by the collective malaise that seems to be affecting the team at the moment, as you'd hope that his experience would mean he'd be one of the players dragging them out of it. Maybe he's a bit too nice. I've said it before on here, but I think one of the problems in the squad at the moment is the lack of leadership on the pitch and I'm not convinced that Clemence has the strength of personality to be an effective captain in a team that's struggling
