SOCCERROO FOX Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 It doesn't matter now wether it was a pen or red card either way we lost end of.
samuel Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Right, it is about time you lot got to grips with the facts.... This team is not good enough for the third division. I really wanted to say my bit on Radio Leicester tonight but i was censored, just like i am on the Leicester mercury website. The mugs that think we have a a hope in hell need lynching, we (meaning the supporters) need a really good slap if we think that the foreign bulbous nosed man has any clue as to what to do. He ( bulbous) really doesn't know what is going on but the mugs seem to think he is the messiah, this mug knows carrots!! Get used to it people, he isn't worth a blow on a ragmans pipe!!!

Well, i wouldn't go that far.
LeeCovFox Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 To be honest, did we expect anything different tonight, with Ipswich's home record? Hull is a real opportunity to win points, as is the return match against Ipswich, despite our poor home form. Wolves, I really can't see more than a point being won and I think Charlton is a right off. QPR will be tough as well, they have shown that tonight by beating a good Burnley side at Turf Moor. I really don't think we are going to be relegated, I think our strikers are good enough to hit the net with the right service, and I'm of the opinion that wingers are essential buys in the upcoming transfer window, but of course that can by no means be the full extent of our transfer activity. My main concern is that if the worst should happen and we fall through this trap door for the first time in our history is the instability that could result from it. Milan won't be going anywhere, he won't sell the club at a loss to himself, thats a given. I only hope our trigger happy owner has the sense to keep hold of Ollie. I genuinely believe that whatever happens this season he is the man for the long term. However as I have said, I really dont believe it will come to relegation. Milan came here with a three year plan for promotion. Some of our fans got ahead of themselves. I t takes time to build a team, something that football fans forget today. We were spoiled by the speed st which MoN turned us into a force. There aren't too many Martin's around for clubs like ours to get lucky with again.
Mr Happy Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Well, i wouldn't go that far. Yeah probly not that far but we certainly are teaming ourselves up as worthy relagation contenders and to be quite frank we deserve it playing as we are.
Free Falling Foxes Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Milan came here with a three year plan for promotion. Some of our fans got ahead of themselves. I t takes time to build a team, something that football fans forget today. MM himself changed his aim to promotion this season. I don't think any realistic fan thought that was on for one moment. I'm frustrated & feeling down but shouldn't be. I predicted a upper/mid table finish and I'm hopeful that will still happen. FFF
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Got some tough games coming up but I wouldn't write them off. Remember end of last season with the pish we had then - managed to lose at home and then win at Barnsley... all is not lost!
RowlattsFox Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Nearly everyone expected us to get beat, and we did, we played against a good team with an excellent home record with 10 men for a decent chunk of the game. I'm not too disheartened, its not been a great start for Ollie but we have played some decent teams recently. On a positive note, atleast Hume's getting a bit of form. Maybe Stearmans more important to our defence then we thought
Calum McDermott Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Let's see all the "The referee lost that game for us" post's then Exactly! the referee did lose the game for us! we went 1-0 down got back into the game got the equaliser and then apparently kisnorbo was unfairly sent off for a clean tackle that shouldn't have been a penalty and it was always going to be difficult from there on!
danny. Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Maybe Stearmans more important to our defence then we thought erm, exactly how short is your memory??

Calum McDermott Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Stop being so negetive. It sounded (lets hear what people at the game thought) like we played ok. We were down to 9 1/2 men and Ipswich have a unbeaten record at home. We need new signings but we have to wait till January. Also, can everyone saying "We ned a ne maager cus he crap were losing" please F**king shut up. what else can Holloway do with someone elses team? Oh yeh lets get a new manager, HA! That always works. Give him time FFS Exactly!
LeeCovFox Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 He changed his plan in the excitement of a new season though. We all let our hearts rule our heads a little in the later weeks of pre season. Its just part of being a fan of any club. I really believe though that we have the basis of a decent side. W e should not be struggling to score goals. Fryatt, Hume, Campbell and Cort, despite recent showings, can score goals at this level. Clemence has proven pedigree at this level. N'Gotty is a top drawer defender at least in this league, and Kisnorbo is capable also. We have talented youngsters who with a little hand holding will develop into good players. The lads just need the correct man management. I think Oliie will provide that.
RowlattsFox Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 erm, exactly how short is your memory?? I wasnt being serious, I think it was a mistake playing N'Gotty at right back though.
samuel Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 So Callum, What is the excuse for the other games? The duffers aren't good enough , it will take a good long look before this team is considered Senior League standard. This team is/ are abysmal/appauling, take your pick?.

samuel Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 What are you laughing at? The club is still in freefall,it will be when you have a bloke thet that thinks "witiscisms" are the way forward. Not making too many comparisons but, the last two fools loved a joke! but the teams they managed before have never done so well!!!

RowlattsFox Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Ratings from an Ipswich Paper They suggest a pretty even game, also in a different story Magilton admits they got lucky with the Pen and sending off.
The Reverend Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 "I have every sympathy with Leicester. It didn't look like a penalty and the red card was harsh as well," said Town boss. "If they are appealing over the red card then we will support them but that said, I thought we controlled the game. From Jim Magilton.
