DanTheFox07 Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 After all the fuss of getting Ian Holloway as our manager, Were supposed to be moving forward and yet weve slowly slipped into the clutches of the relegation positions in the league. I cant help but think were an average team now, something that has stuck in my mind since saturday when were quoted as being an average team by the commentator watching the west brom game. Ive heard how Ian holloway has told skysports that he doesnt know how u can bring 13 players into the club and i agree with him, Quality of some of these are shocking too. How long can this go on though? there are some players that we have who are simply not good enough to wear the shirt, Newton has got to be the worse footballer ive ever seen in a leicester shirt and cort isnt much better. I know how recently weve had a few players out, but we should have players stepping up and showing themselves as worthy replacements and we havent. I read a comment on here earlier about how we would have done better with megson but i disagree, Holloway can`t be at fault? as look at what he did with plymouth, so im very disheartened as a fan at the moment and In January we have to get 3-4 qaulity players or we could seriously have to face up to a relegation battle.
Koke Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Ollie has said it about 531487985 times. He has got his hands tied and cannot buy anybody to strengthen our squad at the moment and I will get quality in at January time.
Matt Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Players. No doubt about it. 5 (Or whatever) managers not really any change within the players.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Players Some of them are a disgrace!!!!
DB11 Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 It's hardly the manager on the pitch doing the business is it? The manager has not had a chance to bring in his own players. It's the players fault. Full stop.
Foxhateram Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Players!!! We need a bit of passion from our players!!! they dont think they are good enough, some of them arent. but they should be working there arses off for their club to improve and get better. there are a few in there that do but not enough. To many are there to collect their wage and it was always gunna be a risk when MM was offering these guys contracts. I am disapointed with our results, but we do have some potential here. and i think IH will turn it around in january, but that will be to late for us to push for anything spectacular this season. i blame The chairmen, The manager, The players, The club.... I blame them as a unit not as one.
FleckneyFox Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 I blame Thatcher. Is that Margaret or Ben OR Carol Seriously though its players they just aint up to it to many of them are here for the paycheck. Sort of Boards fault shouldn't have sacked Allen. Dont have a go at me for being an Allen lover im not i just think with the amount of distruption and uncertainty around the place this season the players have had no consistency and it is bound to affect theyre performance.
gasman68 Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 The blame has to start with Milan. he is the fella employing the managers, and doesn't give then time to get things right.Saying that,he allowed martin Allen to sign a stupid amount of shite players,so who's to blame,Allen or Milan? it took Milan a while before he got Redknapp at Portsmouth,he may not be that lucky again.just hope for our sake,he gives Ollie a fair crack at it,he could be the one.
Head Honcho Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 I'd sack the whole fvcking lot of em to be honest They've seen the back of god knows how many manager and turned this club into a laughing stock, they're a disgrace not just to themselves and this club but to football.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 Hardly any of them have ever achieved anything. I'm yet to see the evidence that more than one or two of them have ever been any good to be honest.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 I blame DanTheFox07 for being unoriginal.
filbertstreetboy Posted 11 December 2007 Posted 11 December 2007 holloway, because of the job he did with plymouth he got the best out of the players but he doesnt seem to be geting the most out of these players, he has lost respect from them for publicly saying he is geting half a team in jan. I know a player at the club who is on the fringes and he says morale is lower than when allen was there because of this, hollway really fooked up in that interview when he said theres loads of deadwood at the club, why he couldnt of just got on with it insted of attention seeking i dont know
DanTheFox07 Posted 11 December 2007 Author Posted 11 December 2007 I blame DanTheFox07 for being unoriginal. Ok so u come up with something unoriginal then!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 I blame DanTheFox07 for being unoriginal. Why are you Dan Players fault for sure

The standard's been set at the top, by a chairman whose judgement has been appalling throughout his time in charge here. Unless and until he leaves, we will continue to struggle.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 Why are you Dan Players fault for sure Nickname from highschool
Aixelsyd Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 1) Chairman 2) Players But if we can keep 'The Same Manager' for more than a couple of heartbeats there is still a chance
Geo V Posted 12 December 2007 Posted 12 December 2007 No one has done their bit, not the fans nor the players and management. All of us have shown glimpses of quality but to be fair, I have been as disappointed at our supporters as I have our new signings. I haven't the heart to take it out on MM so much though. I dislike the fact that he likes to get involved in transfers of players he likes and although I have no proof of which are the players that he brought in during pre-season, i distinctly remember him saying that he had lost 3 or 4 potential signings because of the delay in taking over the club. He was talking like a manager to be fair and he should realize that a manager has his own players, system and team focus and just adding names to a squad is almost suicidal when the manager himself doesn't want the players. On the plus for MM he has done all he can financially as will continue to throw money in so I cant fault him on anything else. The players need a kick up the backside though. They are under-achieving dramatically and are not earning their wages. Its a sad case that most of the team these days is based around last seasons squad and the club need to start wheeling and dealing or these lads will end up as Rab douglas (aka dead wood)
