Babylon Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 Yeah but if any offers do come in, the player will be gone. Plymouth are one of those sides who will always sell up, and so don't expect the likes of Norris, Gosling and Ebanks-Blake to be there for too long. Lets not stoop to some of their levels, currently they are all coming out of this with about as much credit as Ollie.
Asha Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 Get real! Don't get taken in by him Babylon - be strong. Sorry but what? Why's Babylon got to be strong? You're the one that needs to be strong...like a man. Why are you on this forum? Because Holloway left. Therefore you haven't gotten over it. Fact.
Babylon Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 Get real! Don't get taken in by him Babylon - be strong. I'm not taken in by anybody, I form my own opinions thanks... on facts!!!!!! And the facts are nobody except ian holloway has a scooby doo what he wanted to get from writing that letter. Regards Bitter from Plymouth, 28.

Yes - Without a 'sugar daddy' that will be the only way to compete in the Championship for us. It is nice to have players for a change who are probably worth a few bob. Who do you reckon is the most vauable palyer, transfer wise in your team? Kisnorbo has always looked good against us. Hume as well maybe.

Have a guess even? I actually came on here to see your reaction to the letter that was all. To be honest I was amazed by the content of the letter on headed paper, I didn't think Leicester fans would be impressed by it.
Asha Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 I DON'T KNOW.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH. pretty pathetic with your bitter and twisted ramblings. Your signature says it all mate, they're keep going on about it...They can't let it go.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 Let's be honest, that letter is ridiculously unprofessional. However you would think Plymouth fans would know by now that that is the way Holloway operates and get on with it. But no it's "ooh I can't believe he's done that" and "he needs to get over us" etc etc In future can you direct your thoughts on this matter to Mr Holloway directly and you can enjoy a whole load of country-bumpkin correspondence. You're driving us all mental and we are growing to believe that you are all complete morons.

To be honest I was amazed by the content of the letter on headed paper, I didn't think Leicester fans would be impressed by it. It's like having an opinion on the space time continuum, pointless. Because I know bugger all about it. It doesn't bother me particularly, I'm not impressed a personal letter has been published. It might have a logo in the corner but it's Ian Holloways thoughts and feelings not those of Leicester City Football Club. Let's be honest, that letter is ridiculously unprofessional. Father Ted Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 What a Jackass Holloway is. All he had to say was here is your refund, BUT NO he has to go on rambling about why he left and then he goes and says don't give this to the press as if he wants it to be given to the press. What a joke.

What a joke. It's because he knew - knew how low some Plymouth fans are. He knew they'd post it, so at least by asking him not to it makes the Plymouth fan look like a cat's penis.

For a Plymouth fan a cat's penis is too big. Maybe a mouse's penis. Especially with the way that they are acting. They just haven't quite grown up yet.
Asha Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 I am always going to totally back Ollie up on this matter. If I were Plymouth manager and were offered a job at Leicester, I'd take it. If I was being abused I would lose it from time to time. If I sent that letter I would have asked for it not to be published.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 Holloway's in a lose-lose situation here. If he didn't reply, the Plymouth supporter would've gone on their forum and typed 'I wrote a letter to Hollowords asking for a refund and he didn't even reply, scum'. If Holloway had replied with the the refund and just a short note saying 'Enclosed is a refund for your purchase' they would've gone on their forum and typed 'I wrote a letter to Hollowords asking for a refund for his book and he sent it but there wasn't even an apology and it didn't even sound like he'd bothered to write his own reply, scum'. Now Holloway's took the time out to send a reply which was obviously in his own words and not his PA's, enclosed the refund and wished Plymouth Argyle well for the future and still he gets abused. What more can he do? Ok, so he might have been hoping for his words to be published when he said 'keep this secret' but Plymouth fans have just risen to his bait, gone ahead and published his thoughts. Now if what he says comes true no-one can say he didn't give you warning. Some Plymouth fans might realise why he had to leave them to better himself if what he says does happen.
Zingari Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 why would IH send "£17 CASH " in the post ? it seems an odd amount to send through the post ; surely it would be obvious to anyone else that there was cash in the envelope and IH would have probably rounded it up to £20 anyway to cover the lad's postage ; i just cannot imagine him counting out the exact amount and popping it into an envelope

filbertstreetboy Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 ffs ollie why are you feeding these plymouth trolls we are in real danger of going down and your writing letters and making phone calls? The only thing that is certain in all this is that we need 100% from ollie,he should be out there looking for players if he is going to leave plymouths star players alone
Hullfox Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 As you suggest it would require at least a couple of loose coins One actually, it could have been a £2
Hullfox Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 I think we should all write to "Trevor" and wish him all the best for 2008.

But I do wish he had been concentrating on the job at hand here .....like trying to make Stearman look normal
Tommy G Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 That was a silly mistake Mr Holloway. And im positive that letter is genuine. Otherwise someone very sad and lonely has made that up
Simi Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 That was a silly mistake Mr Holloway. And im positive that letter is genuine. Otherwise someone very sad and lonely has made that up But these are Plymouth fans we're talking about.
Tommy G Posted 20 December 2007 Posted 20 December 2007 But these are Plymouth fans we're talking about. I agree, but if it is true. Massive school boy error by Ollie
