Now McLeish has told Danns he will allow him to leave after delivering the same message last week to central defender Martin Taylor.

:dunno:

Replacement for Kisnorbo

Cracking player at Colchester. But then, thats League One, and we all know how players who light up that division don't always do the business in this one.

Speaking to a Birmingham mate of mine, Danns actually wasn't that bad last season for them. But such the form of Larsson, Clemence, Muamba, Johnson and others, it was always going to be difficult for a lad whose not proven himself at this level to really make an impact. I'd be tempted to get him in, I bet he'd be available for £400,000 or so, which is fook all for a midfielder with an eye for goal.

We should have had Cohen and Davies in the summer and now they're probably signing Danns as well. These are the sort of attacking midfielders we should be giving a go.

cohen as in Tamir Cohen?

Chris Cohen. We wanted him, but Yeovil were only prepared to sell him alongside Aaron Davies as well so that West Ham didn't get as much of a sell on fee as they would have done had Cohen been sold on his own. But Allen didn't want Davies as well, so they both went Forest.

Didn't they go for a combined fee of £1million in the end? That makes me sick. And we spent more than that on DJ ****ing Campbell. What a joke.

Yeah I think it was £1 million rising to £1.2 million depending on appearances.
