Speaking to a Birmingham mate of mine, Danns actually wasn't that bad last season for them. But such the form of Larsson, Clemence, Muamba, Johnson and others, it was always going to be difficult for a lad whose not proven himself at this level to really make an impact. I'd be tempted to get him in, I bet he'd be available for £400,000 or so, which is fook all for a midfielder with an eye for goal.

We wanted him, but Yeovil were only prepared to sell him alongside Aaron Davies as well so that West Ham didn't get as much of a sell on fee as they would have done had Cohen been sold on his own. But Allen didn't want Davies as well, so they both went Forest.
