Guest Gist Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Without doubt Stearman for me today. Just shows what he is capable of, shame he doesn't play like that every week!
The Reverend Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Clemence/Stearman. Cant believe Norbo's only got 2 votes!
Bert Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Clemence/Stearman.Cant believe Norbo's only got 2 votes! I know, just goes to show how well the other 2 played.
leicesterseddon Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 fryatt all the way...stearman did well by his standards but it's all relative hume did nothing for me, and clemence did play well - esp. with the free kicks i just hope fulop stays, although judging by his unenthusiastic thumbs up to the kop (when he should have waved!) i'm getting a bit worried. I loved the two blokes who got chucked out (one was frog-marched like a guantanamo bay prisoner!) and the ipswich fans were not the worst away fans of the season but rather of all time
EE155 Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I think because Stearman has had a bad time of it recently he was MOM. Even though he still didnt put in tackles every time he should have, his work rate and effort were the best we've seen of him! Keep it up Stearz! Good job by the boys too!! nice to hear a happy Walkers crowd!
City Lad Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I thought Chambers did well but nobody has voted for him
Jimmy Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 i just hope fulop stays, although judging by his unenthusiastic thumbs up to the kop (when he should have waved!) i'm getting a bit worried. I loved the two blokes who got chucked out (one was frog-marched like a guantanamo bay prisoner!) and the ipswich fans were not the worst away fans of the season but rather of all time he was just concentrating on the game, he's too good a keeper to risk turning around and the other team counter attacking and scoring
Darkzzz_ Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I voted for stearman but i really was impressed with Clem and Fryatt and Kisnorbo was a rock aswell!! I thought they all played well.... I really hope Ollie has got into there heads!! Ref did dive tho didnt he!!
Simi Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Kisnorbo for me. Good goal from him and he looked solid at the back, which is nice to see after his abysmal game at Hull the other week. Finally started to pass the ball on the floor as well which is something he's found hard to do of late.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I voted for Kisnorbo. The second goal was the killer and it was an excellent header. Commanding in the air and won some important tussles with Lee. All too often we have seen players like him have a field day at the Walkers (Andy Gray springs to mind) so it was nice to see our backline deal with him effectively and Kisnorbo was the pick of the lot for me.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 He did clap the Kop as well just after he did the thumbs up. I don't think it was unenthusiastic. I haven't noticed whether he does this every game but he went round all corners of the ground clapping the fans after the game yesterday, not sure whether to read anything into that. Seemed a bit odd at the time.

Seemed a bit odd at the time. Yeah I noticed that. I hope it wasn't some precursor to a final farewell... I really think he loves it here. I certainly love him. That said I just can't see us holding on to him, there's a sense of inevitability about it all. Oh yeah, man of the match Fryatt JUST ahead of Kisnorbo.
Lichfieldfox. Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I went for Stearman mainly because his pace and movement were evident. He was enthusistic and looked like a man possessed. Chambers role was crucial to his play. Clem led the team for the first time. I witnessed PASSION! Fryatt and Kisnorbo were top notch too.
