davieG Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Only Vote if you were there PLEASE!! Way hay my 3rd attempt!!!!
syston_fox Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Fryatt - when he had the ball he was always looking to push forward and when he didnt have it, he always provided an option to pass too.
Matt Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Clemence. Stearman close second, he's been great in the last two games, keep it up Stearz! Ollie's admitted he gave a big bollocking to Stearman, Obviously worked! Am I wrong to worry about how long it will last though?!
Matt Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Fryatt - when he had the ball he was always looking to push forward and when he didnt have it, he always provided an option to pass too. Fryatt is looking alot fitter aswell, He actually had some pace at time's today
Raj Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 In my opinion no ONE player really stood out. Clem,Stearman and Fryatt all played well. Fryatt REALLY needs to Bang one in soon but he does look better. Clem has hopefully got over his dodgy spell. Stearman takes alot of shite off people, but he did well today.
Webbo Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I voted Stearman, mainly because of his goal but I could just as easily voted Fryatt .Imo the best footballer at the club.
Guest Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Stearman for me, just though, cos Fryatt was top notch today.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Fryatt was immense today. A slippery customer, much like an eel. The Ipswich couldn't get the ball off him. Very positive. Would be interested to see what he can produce if we sign a few more decent players. Stearman also very good, no one had a howler
Koke Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Matty Fryatt for me. He was a changed boy today and was a constant threat whenever he had the ball.
LcFc D3C Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 stearman played well but fryatt played best game i've seen him play in a while.Comon you blues
Daggers Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Fryatt was immense today. A slippery customer, much like an eel. Fryatt for me too, although I felt he was more like a slippery Page 3 model (stripped naked and covered in KY jelly) listening to Slippery When Wet and wearing slippers.
Fox in a Box Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Clem. A leader for once on the pitch good work fella
Ultra Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 I have to admit that Stearman was immense today. A bit lucky with his goal, but at least he was in the right place (strikers take note). He was the pick of a back four which did little wrong all afternoon.
danny. Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 probably fryatt, but i went for stearman, because for *him* that was an amazing game. The whole 11 looked like a different team. Like it have sheehan came on at 88? I'm sure he was on for about 15 mins. God know how long the game was tho, the clock breaking didn't help, but by my reckoning that was a 105min game
vim23 Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Fryatt for me today closely followed by mcauley who never put a foot wrong.
Thracian Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Toss up between the two scorers, Stearman and Kisnorbo. In the end I chose Stearman because of that goal and the immense amount of work he got through at both ends of the field despite the pressure of having a booking hanging over him for about 85 minutes. Not too long ago, Stearman cost us a goal through being too casual with his marking. There was no chance of that today. His goal came from being brave and getting right into the heart of the Ipswich penalty area and he showed much more willingness today to keep the ball on the ground and stop giving possession away. He and Chambers worked tirelessly to provide constant width for us on the right, a factor that has so often been missing this season.

There was no chance of that today. He actually saved us a goal today, with his anticipation leading to a goal-line clearance. His concentration has improved 1000% in the last two games and he's a far better player for it.
AoWW Posted 26 December 2007 Posted 26 December 2007 Fryatt for me, although i have to - grudgingly! - admit that Stearman did pretty good too.
