Yesterday was one of the VERY rare occasions where the away fans failed to outsing L1.The Kop was fine in its first two seasons, even though it had to incorporate the flask and blanket brigade from the former Filbo upper tier. Given success on the pitch, it could be again. L1 on the other hand will never be anything other than a home for chavs and wannabe hardmen. But not Internet hardmen by the sounds of things eh? Do you only stop sitting in your hand whilst at your computer?

It's just ridiculous because some of the same people that spout it will talk nostalgically about the kop at filbo as if it were the most brilliant place on earth. There were far more 'wannabe hooligans' in there than there ever will be in L1. I totally agree mate , Because you like a bit of a stand up and sing and you have to sit in L1 to get it everybody labels you a hooligan or a wanna be at that. It's daft most people really do sit there just because they like the atmosphere.

Probably a good job they didnt chant anything because we wouldnt of been able to understand them anyway with that stupid accent of theirs. I don't know what went off but it certainly took a lot of people to remove one person, always aggravates things I feel, perhaps a reason why the steward was hurt.

It's called getting behind the team, and its somethig which the vast majority of L1 try and do every game. So what if theres usually 2-3000 away fans and about 500 of us and we've only had 4 home wins in the whole of 2007, we always try to get behind the team and I personally think we do a good job and the important thing is the players and holloway hear us. Nothing makes me more proud than to see the kop on its feet singing and rocking just like the brum game last year, it was great but lets be realistic here the kop is made up of about 4000. yes? of that 1000 odd join in with clapping and a few others sing when we're winning. Apart from that its 100 odd 15-25 year olds on the back 3 rows trying desperately to create an atmosphere with another 2500 odd happy to sit down at the front with their flask's and lets face it should really be in the west / north stand. And dont try and make it out that I don't know what its like in the kop I had an ST there for 2 and a half seasons before switching to L1 midway through the 2005/06. I challenge you to spend a game in L1 and find me just 10 people you could be classed as chavs. Their called FOOTBALL SUPPORTERS!

Are you entitled to disagree with peoples choice of lifestyles, despite they would be providing money to leicester city, and also helping the cause of increasing the atmosphere, which so many people desperately want. I also moved to L1 from The Kop this season after also sampling N Block last season. The Kop is hopeless for making noise as it contains a maximum capacity of 7500 seats and the majority of the fans that sit there seem inclined to not sing or make any noise. 7500 fans should make a cauldron of noise and yet often The Kop makes hardly a peep. It is embarassing. I much prefer it in L1 and i am a teacher! The fans that stand in L1 are a joy to be around and i resent being called a chav with a university degree and professional job! How ignorant an opinion! I would much prefer to be with supporters who want to create an atmosphere and actually do something about it!

Seemed some bloke was been carried out?Anyway, the Ipswich fans were poor yesterday, only about 6 of them stood on the back row which I was very surprised about but with their away record I was hardly surprised. I spoke to a Town fan after and he said he just didn't feel like singing after the first 10 minutes. I wonder how many of the people in this thread have been to games away from home this season when we have been dreadful. :laugh: Anyway, Why is L1 always L1 and not the east stand?

Bollocks & toss I think you will find L1 is just like A-block at Forest the loudest & most atmospheric part of our stadium with a very small scattering of wannabes & hooligans same as any club!

Would they let me ? Yes you ring the ticket office ask to change. If you are in the south stand it will cost you £20 like it did for me. maybe less as we are half the way through the season.

After that we decided to move. You rang me when you were in ticket office saying there were no seats together in L, so me and LD3 were screwed! We were ready to move but couldn't.

Good luck with that last bit, not much room up there. I sit in F1 so would have no chance to hear that, I find there is little point in starting chants such as WYS, as it just ends up with me and a couple of mates singing it.

Would they let me ? This may be because it's a whole stand, not just one block. If there's that many more people in the area, there's bound to be more people sitting and not joining in with songs.

Got old and don't go anymore.
