Fox in a Box Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 IAN HOLLOWAY "I think the Bosman thing is a pile of donkey dung." BBC Sport columnist Ian Holloway, the former Plymouth manager, after learning midfielder Tony Capaldi was considering his future. "If I'd have been one of their fans I'd have hit him with a bottle myself." Holloway after an over-the-top goal celebration by Pilgrims player Hasney Aljofree led to bottles being thrown by Peterborough fans. ON Elvis! "I love the big man, absolutely brilliant. Some of the films were a bit dodgy. That one where he was diving off a cliff, he climbed back up to the top, his hair was immaculate and he wasn't even wet... and for me that's why he's the King. All shook up over Elvis.  http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/funny_old_game/7147556.stm

Scow Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 I've always maintained Hammond is the most effective striker we've got. Last season he scored 6 goal in 19 starts - 1 in 3, which would have been almost 1 in 2 if you include his offside efforts. Hammond always disrupts defences with his pace. In contrast, Fryatt produces a Christmas present for the Ipswich game. For me, Fryatt is like a turkey - useless from January to November, tasty in December, but ultimately hollow inside.

Compare that to the 0.5 of Kisnorbo and the 0 of Fulop, you can see why Hammond is such a good player.
Fox in a Box Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 just face it hammond is shocking just like ade akinbadpurchase.

Elvis' finishing is simply sublime, his beautiful strike at Brum lae had some finisher's in our side now.

Alternatively, you could also say that Elvis finished off our strikers with one - wait - two strikes. They've been suffering ever since.
