CupidStunt Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Just wondering if your thoughts have changed about Ollie? Noticed a while back there were many members on here calling for him to be booted, and that he lost the plot so early on. I might have egg on me face one day,but i have said from the start he is the man for the job,and i am so pleased we are moving in the right direction at last
Simi Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 No one has booed ollie... Plenty of people texted into Radio Leicester after Ipswich saying he wasn't the right man for the job.

Nath Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Plenty of people texted into Radio Leicester after Ipswich saying he wasn't the right man for the job. Did they boo him? I rest my case
CupidStunt Posted 30 December 2007 Author Posted 30 December 2007 No one has booed ollie... Sorry mate if you mis-understood,i meant here,on these forums
Simon Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Plenty of people texted into Radio Leicester after Ipswich saying he wasn't the right man for the job. Yes, but they're retards.
Matt Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 To be fair this time it has only been a minority, I don't think anyone on here has really called for his head, a few have questioned some of his decisions but i've yet to see a "Ollie Out" poll.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 I wonder when THE ONE MARTIN ALLEN CHANT will get another airing

I might have egg on me face one day,but i have said from the start he is the man for the job,and i am so pleased we are moving in the right direction at last There was never any booing , even from the likes of me. But, dosen't anyone here see the reality.......we are worse off than when he came. In that same time Palace, as I've said on other threads, are one point off the playoffs. Both newbie managers are dealing with an inherited squad. I'm afraid that fact says it all about Ollie...................a journeyman joker........who I hope dosen't carry on wasting this club's money in Jan like the other jokers....it is not inexhaustable
CupidStunt Posted 30 December 2007 Author Posted 30 December 2007 wanting to start a thread were we? And what would be so wrong in that? It not allowed?
Ajax Treesdown Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 I wonder when THE ONE MARTIN ALLEN CHANT will get another airing I doubt it will. Martin Allen is a prize t**t.

I'm afraid that fact says it all about Ollie...................a journeyman joker........who I hope dosen't carry on wasting this club's money in Jan like the other jokers....it is not inexhaustable Warnock joined Palace on the 11th October First 10 games 14 points Holloway joined us on the 22nd November First 10 games 10 points. The squad he inherited finished 12 points ahead of us last year!!!
The Stig Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 There was a lot of morons on Radio Leicester saying he was not the right man after the Ipswich game. I text in myself and said that they were talking crap. There will be plenty of times in the future when we go on bad runs and there will always be these people who have no knowledge on football calling for them to get the axe. We need to have patience with Ollie, and I hope and pray that Milan gives him time.

This is the first big Club IH has managed at and I am not jumping up and down with joy at the moment.

I daresay it says more about Peter Taylor's lack of ability...
Hugo Sanchez Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 I doubt it will. Martin Allen is a prize t**t. I liked him, he said the rights things and we seemed to be improving. He was a real man's man.
Babylon Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 No it doesn't- have you seen Palace's squad?I daresay it says more about Peter Taylor's lack of ability... Exactly... typical Blue Moon nonsense twisting things to make his argument look good.
Steven Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 I liked him, he said the rights things and we seemed to be improving. He was a real man's man. WTF. :crylaugh:
MPH Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 And what would be so wrong in that?It not allowed? just a bit of a stupid one.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 WTF. :crylaugh: Ok abit OTT but he did really want to do well for us and his comments after the Watford game where very classy and i hope the man does well in his next job.
davieG Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Ollie hasn't proved himself to be a success or a failure so anyone booing him was premature and anyone saying he's made a difference is also premature. As for playing better, better than when because I don't think yesterday was better than several games this season. I'll wait and see before I heap praise or condemnation on him.
Steven Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Ok abit OTT but he did really want to do well for us and his comments after the Watford game where very classy and i hope the man does well in his next job. Whatever happened must largely be Milan's responsibility.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 30 December 2007 Posted 30 December 2007 Whatever happened must largely be Milan's responsibility. Yea true because last summer he hired and beleive he was the man too take us into the Premiership and trusted him with the money.
