Whilst i agree with your sentiments, why would quality players come here to fight a relegation battle, when they could join a club that looks like it's going places? I know that this is a short term view, but if City can't sell "it" to the fans, what chance have they got with players?

Your totally right and with the amount of money we have spent it is amazing that we are not in a position to attract quality players.

I think I'm still bitter that we didn't sign the few quality players that we needed in the summer and wasted a lot of time and money. Clemence was the only decent signing we made and half the time he only looks marginally better than Stephen Hughes. We haven't really even replaced Tiatto and Johansson yet which is astonishing given the amount of players that we have signed.

Allen went for quantity not quality. I know we had a relatively small squad, but I would rather take the risks with injuries affecting a handful of games, than seeing overpaid, slightly-less-than-average players being ever presents.

He said he would not return for any of Plymouths players. He bid for Hayles and got him because Hayles is past it. But now he has tried bidding for David Norris (just seen it on sky sports news). What a lying waste of space. I expect you foxes fans to say "its partof the game"...but have a proper look at how this idiot has conducted himself over the last few months. A liar. He is losing respect within the game. For your sake...I hpe you get rid of him...no fans deserve him.

I know what he said and he's pissed me off going back for Barry Hayles and then bragging about what a good signing he is :giggle: , but if other clubs are bidding for him why shouldn't we put a bid in? If he rates the player it'd be silly not to and lose him to someone else.

I can't remember being able to trust any manager so I'm not exactly worried, plus we've got Mandaric who is completely untrustworthy.

Well that's for us to worry about... maybe you should be more concerned with your chairman who cranks up the "lets hate holloway band wagon", which keeps people from asking why exactly a club in our state is seen as a better option than you are... oh and why your players are being sold left right and centre.

I love how Holloway is a liar, the day he said the Leicester link was rubbish your chairman also said it was. Does that make him a liar???

Holloway didn't say he wasn't leaving. He said he loved "Plymouth"... not the club "Plymouth" and that anyone who knew him knows what he thinks about the club.

None of plymouths best players have been sold...all 3 players sold struggled to get in the team....gosling, 17 years old, harldy played, 1.5mil thank you very much, buzacky, couldnt get in the team, half a mil thank you very much, hayles, oh deary me, 2 goals 8 bookings this season, sold him to a club silly enough to pay for him, thank you very much.

Argyle have sold 2 players who cant get in the team to lower teams, and an unproven 17 year old for 1.5 mil.

Oh...Ollie actaully said rumours of him going to Leicester was "poppycok". Take ur head out of that very dark place and open your eyes! I have nothing against ur club. But this guy is sc*m and u deserve better

We're going to need cover for DJ, up front we have a wealth of ponderous strikers (some good, some not so good) but none with any real pace, Hume's a busy player while Chambers is still very young and Fryatt has yet to show any of his early promise... ideally a loan (if we can fit one in with Alnwick and the two Hungarians in the squad) and we should be able to get a fairly decent one (the likes of Earnshaw and Connolly would probably be free at the lower end, well maybe not Connolly if Keano is still be a grad-a tw*t, while at the other end there are some really bright prospects who could be brought in on loan Sinclair perhaps being the stand out candidate as Ollie's worked with him in the past and his ability to play on the wing and up front, not to mention the lads' speed!).

Beyond that Midfield remains the key, with two decent wings and an attacking player in the centre... beyond that a centre back with some pace wouldnt go amiss (another loan?).

You are still selling players. How much of the £2m+ is your chairman going to reinvest then?

That is exactly how i felt when i read this i wish he would just be quiet and sign the players i know i complain when the club doesent keep us informed but he says we are signing players all the time and we never do :whistle:

Every time you make a statement to these fans, you say something stupid FGS. Have you ever stopped to think why we want to get rid of 10 of our players.......think about it for once!! before making stupid statements......it's embarassing.
