Rules and Proceedures (Pretty much the same as last year with a few additions) Drivers Championship System: If your driver finishes in 1st place, you will receive 10 pts. 2nd = 8 pts 3rd = 6 pts 4th = 5 pts 5th = 4 pts 6th = 3 pts 7th = 2 pts 8th = 1 pt 9th = 0 pts 10th = 0 pts ... and so on. NEW* Pole Position = 2 pts Fastest Lap = 1 pt If your driver finishes in the top EIGHT for qualifying = you will each receive 1 pt (except 1st place who has already got 2 pts for Pole Position) If your driver fails to finish the race, the following will occur. Retirement (Crash) = -3 pts Retirement (Technical Fault) = -2 pts Black Flagged = -6 pts Other = -3 pts NEW* Any points deducted from a driver in the World Championship will also be deducted from the member who has that driver. (eg Lewis Hamilton (Walkers) - Hamilton deducted 10 pts means I will be deducted 10 pts in the Drivers Championship. If the points deducted from the driver are also taken away from the Constructor (McLaren) the same will happen here, So McLaren = -10 pts. Note: If your driver misses a race, the replacement driver will then be yours for that race. Constructors Championship System: If two drivers from the same team finish in the points system, the points received will be added. The points system is the same as the Drivers World Championship system (1st = 10 pts, 7th = 2 pts) A 1-2 finish (the two drivers finish first and second in the same race) = 2 pts. NEW* 1-2 in qualifying (eg. 1st Kimi Raikkonen 2nd Felipe Massa) + 2 pts Both drivers from the same team finish on the podium (1st, 2nd & 3rd) = 1 pt (this does not occur for a constructor who has a 1-2 finish. If the driver(s) fail to finish the race, the following will occur: Retirement (Crash) = -3 pts Retirement (Technical) = -2 pts Double Retirement (both drivers in your team fail to finish the race) = - 6 pts Black Flagged = -3 pts Double Black Flagged (both drivers in your team get black flagged (very unlikely)) = - 10 pts Other = -3 pts If there are any problems or queries with the rules above, tell me. 22 players needed.
