If he's a success, and it's all relative I'm not embarrassed it's horses for course and the guy was a waste of space with respect to the job that needs to be done at LCFC, he was all fancy footwork without any out put and always looked scared stiff in any tackle, not that he every really tried to win the ball that I could see.

SamL Posted 9 January 2008 Posted 9 January 2008 Can't really comment because I never saw him play but he sounded like a decent young player. I just hope the decision not to sign him doesn't come back to haunt us. He obviously has something about him if Pompey have signed him.

Stephen Dawson slipped through and became something... a free-scoring central midfielder! No wait a minute, that's a lie... he's scored just 3 goals in his 82 league starts (plus 11 sub appearances). League Two, that is. We may laugh, but at least Mansfield have some midfielders.
