Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 With Osbourne coming on monday, a left back now would make us a decent side me thinks. Any ideas?
Staf Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Harley from Burnley Good call played well against Arsenal how about Jay McEvely from Derby
teblin Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 As long as the hungarians are decent, I'd agress all we need in a left back and we have a good side in this div.
Tommy G Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Harley definately - good shout. Mattock is one for the future and is probably playing out his depth at this point. A solid LB would make our defence tidy. *Now ready for the stearman/chambers debate..*

Ric Flair Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I would not be surprised to see Capaldi here by the end of next week if we offer enough.
Fox You Forest Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I would not be surprised to see Capaldi here by the end of next week if we offer enough. I like the cut of your Jib.
Ultra Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Matty Taylor would indeed be a good signing. But he'll be snapped up by another Premier League team..
sdb Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 armand traore when arsenal crash out of the league cup? maybe a little optimistic... left side def needs addressing still i agree. hopefully the hungarian will be a tasty treat!!
teblin Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 jordan stewart? I'd have jordan back here. Don't understand why we sold him to be honest. Poor winger solid left back.

Father Ted Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Good call played well against Arsenal how about Jay McEvely from Derby Mceveley has done his ligaments in and so is out for a while. (Deserves the dirty B*stard right especially after breaking Djibril Cisse's and somebody else (who I can't remember) legs with dirty challenges TWAT)
MikeyT Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Good call played well against Arsenal how about Jay McEvely from Derby Jay Mcevely is a good player, but at this rate we will end up with half a squad of ex Derby players! Theres talk on another page on here about Darren Moore coming as well!
Boycie Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I dont think we need any more players in this transfer window in my opinion. I think Mattock and Sheehan are fine for the job to be honest, i do like Sheehan being in the side because of his set play deliveries though.
Rodders Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 jordan stewart? He's still at Watford, right? Is he playing much?
morris1234 Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 harley is a great shout as is capaldi! ollie knows who he wants!
Simon Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 He's still at Watford, right? Is he playing much? Yes. No chance. I'd have Capaldi. Give Joe another year or two to develop properly. Yet to be convinced that he might not end up suiting left wing better...
morris1234 Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Yes. No chance.I'd have Capaldi. Give Joe another year or two to develop properly. Yet to be convinced that he might not end up suiting left wing better... joe's a great talent, you dont get many great young ENGLISH left backs nowadays!
Thracian Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 Yes. No chance.I'd have Capaldi. Give Joe another year or two to develop properly. Yet to be convinced that he might not end up suiting left wing better... He's played left wing/midfield before but is not quite pacey enough nor is his left foot quite accurate enough. I'm sure he can work on his finishing and delivery but I'd have to see a lot more games like Wednesday's to be convinced he'll create anything like as much as Sheehan - even if the Irishman is slow.
FleckneyFox Posted 11 January 2008 Posted 11 January 2008 I think we could do with a centre-back, left-back, more experienced winger and permanent keeper but the latter 2 can wait until the summer LB - Tony Capaldi, Chris Armstrong, Matt Sadler, Lewin Nyatanga, Martin Cranie CB - Osei Sankofa, Marcel Seip, Martin Taylor, Claude Davis, Michael Duberry, Wes Morgan
