Cal Posted 12 January 2008 Posted 12 January 2008 Does anyone know if the options to sign them on permanently are water tight? It would be just our luck that they carry on playing this good and either another club comes in for them, or their existing clubs opt out of the agreement.

When Ollie/Gary Penrice signed our two (Halmosi & Timar) they had a watertight agreement (I had the same fears) So presumably they have done it again!

Guest Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 a fee has been agrred for both of them and NO OTHER TEAMS CAN HIJACK THE DEALS and thank fook for that
OneTrueSaxon Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 Sorry if this has already been mentioned on another thread, but City have a pre contract agreement for both players with their respective clubs that give them the option to buy them both at the end of the loan period, for pre agreed fees. This was a clause that Milan but into the agreement. Just nice to know that if yesterdays game is anything to go by, after the loans spells end, they'll still be here, and for what i am sure is a bargin pre determined price,
sdb II Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 great news! a thread on this already i think. wonder what the fees are? in the region of £500k each? that'd be my guess
morris1234 Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 did you not hear the post match interview for LS, he was asked if laczko and if it was a move was possible in the future he said something in the region of 'yes we have a deal whereby no other clubs can get in there and nick them before weve made our decision. it will happen if theY (not him, so he means both of them) like us and we like them then we can look into it' so like mentioned before, we have an already agreed fee for them.
BigGibbo Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 They definately looked Hungary for success! Anyone? I should go!
Matt Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 From what Ollie said I think we have them as a bargain deal, I'm not sure what is classed as a bargain deal but all sounds good, and at least this time its not a "Gentleman's Agreement"
Lovejoy Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 From what Ollie said I think we have them as a bargain deal, I'm not sure what is classed as a bargain deal but all sounds good, and at least this time its not a "Gentleman's Agreement" There is nothing gentlemanly about Roy Keane
sdb Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 fulop put to great use again today by sunderland...
Plymouth Pete Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 great news! a thread on this already i think. wonder what the fees are? in the region of £500k each? that'd be my guess Halmosi an international with over 20 caps cost us 400k Buzsaky who seems more like your two 275k, as a guide.
Head Honcho Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 a fee has been agrred for both of them and NO OTHER TEAMS CAN HIJACK THE DEALS They may not be able to hijack the deal but they can still make us an offer on our deal. ...................and for anyone thinking the deal is done and we sign him if we want in the summer remember when Utd thought they had a deal with Mikel John Obi? Sport is littered with broken deals!
