Just a little short on wood and clay and iron. something like 150 100 and 50. Could change by the time I receive donations/loans. Was going to concentrate on resources but doesn't seem worth it if I have to pack in for server 1. May as well have a bit of fun with the ladies of neighbourin villages and nick some stuff while I'm there. Onward into the breach rode the brave 50 men, destined for glory or certain death. There are a few of them 3 infact 1 of them is near me, iv attacked him and farmed him a bit but im fed up with his presence.
Rincewind Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I checked the stats. Tbh it does seem you've farmed him a bit. Not far enogh for barracks but no resouces to train. By Sunday I will be able to make on last stand before moving. I have all the stats for those 3. I'll be outnumbered though. Am I allowed to lend men for training purposes?

Rincewind Posted 15 February 2008 Posted 15 February 2008 I finished up doing my wood. My wheat per hour has gone down now. Trouble is when you add things it takes more resources. Cant get everything unless your production is high and if it is high you might get raided without defence or troops. There are tactics to it if I can be bothered to study them.

Rincewind Posted 16 February 2008 Posted 16 February 2008 I think the server is being reset in a week or so. Probably for maintenance and fixing bugs. I will continue but start differently on 2. Not sure how I'll manage with two of them. I've just used all my resources for a barracks and upgrade of wheat. About 100 short of wood and clay for soldiers but 1 is not much use for raiding anyway. My feilds are not high enough for blacksmith etc. this is why on S2 I may get one of each to level five then start to add the buildings. you just need I think for a start Embassy L1 for signing up with the alliance Cranny to hide stuff Grannery for wheat Warehouse for the otyher stuff main building prob L3 I think building the resouces is more important. If we are attack protected the buildings wont matter much. What do others think? We should have a tactics thread and others specific subjects on the forum instead of random posts.
Nick Posted 16 February 2008 Posted 16 February 2008 I have a Granary and a Cranny and the following rates of production: Production: Wood: 11 per hour Clay: 18 per hour Iron: 11 per hour Wheat: 12 per hour Troops: None I need to upgrade my main house still and get a warehouse and an embassy. This is only day 1. My plan is to leave the buildings and get my production up to level 3's a quickly as possible during the amnesty, regularly upgrading so storage does not become an immediate issue. I reckon I have another 13 days before the geezer in the next allotment wanders over for a pillage with his 700 strong population..... Am I doing the right thing? Any guidance appreciated, N.
