They are both fantastic players, but i agree with the previous post, i think Drogba just edges it.

Although, Drogba took a bit of time to settle into the English style of football, Torres seems to have adapted pretty much straight away.

It depends. One's a strong, target man the other is a pacy one who gets on the end of flick ons.

Them two together would be deadly!

I voted for Torres. Is simply a class player. £25million looks an absolute snip. In my opinion, the best striker in the world at the moment, if Liverpool had someone like Rooney or Tevez playing off him, they'd be pretty close to the title.

As for Drogba, the best target man in the world. Would get in any side in the world. Can't think of a player like him to be honest.

Just think of Torres and Drogba as a partnership. That would be orgasmic.

Torres is a better player for me, but if you want goals immediately then Drogba. I reckon Torres will develop into a just as good goalscorer as Didier though.

Drogba's won trophies and performed over longer spells.

Torres is quality, but still has to match Drogba's record - and might not do that at his current club.

Drogba for me, at the moment anyway.

Torres offers you pace and a different dimension to what they already have. His finishing is top notch on his day but to many times this season he's missed simple chances, but I suppose he still has a very healthy goal tally. He will only continue to improve though.

Drogba gives you an areal threat, the way he holds up the ball is second to none I think. Also his finishing is class and has great burst of pace.

These two as a partnership would be scary, although Drogba and Anelka wont be bad!

Torres was Athletico Madrid captain at 19, i think that is a better achievment in its self.

Wow. Now this really is a tough one.

Chelsea are a completely different team without Drogba, he's a superb and very important player for them.

However, I went for Torres. The class that player has just edges Drogba and I think he's settled in superbly for his first season in English football. He's a natural goalscorer and has undoubtedly shown his qualities in front of goal this season.

Both top players but I had to go for Torres.

Didier: Now then Fernando, yer lanky streak of piss, look at this fistful of winners medals I've got!

Fernando: That's nowt mate, check out this armband I got for me 19th birthday. We played Levante. It were ace!

I'd prefer Drogba in my team at the moment, Torres has got age on his side though.

Yeah but this Age character is no Michael Essien.
