Bert Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 Osbourne will be training with us tomorrow, as far as Ollie knows. DJ Campbell will be in the sqaud. Zsolt has a twisted ankle and hasn't trained all week, but will probably train tomorrow. Clem has a slight calf strain and Ollie says, he's been the player that has tried the most, and worn himself out. Be interesting to see whether Oakley has the armband or not but i doubt it.
Staf Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 Good to see that Clem is working hard like a captain should I hope Zsolt is fit for the weekend
WetFlannel Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 Give the armband to Hume, although, Oakley will probably get it as he was previously captain at Derby
ibbosuk Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 Radio Leic Report Stephen Clemence & Zsolt Laczko are Doubtful for Norwich game. Isaiah Osbourne will train with City tomorrow.

Osbourne in team for clemence then. Kisnorbo Captain for me. Hope Zsolt will be alright for saturday. Probably be on bench.
Staf Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 We have cover for Clem i think Weso and Osbourne are good enough but Zsolt will be a big loss we have no cover on the left

Staf Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 Bori can play left. Oh i didnt know that i think he only played on the right oh well we need Zsolt anyway
Thracian Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 What is it about Leicester and injuries? If our players breathe heavy they seem to end up injured. Someone should conduct a review of other clubs, find out which have the lowest number of casualties and what they do differently to us. All sorts of things have changed over the years. Lengthy pre-match warm-ups, five substitutions which means half the team don't play full-matches regularly, big squads which mean the same, different types of studs in the boots, endless energy drinks, disruptive international breaks and more pampering than can ever be good for them etc. Yet supposedly fit athletes are falling like skittles on pub championship night. I honestly wonder if they'd all be best enrolled in a boxing club. Best training I've ever known.
lildave3 Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 Isnt Kisnorbo vice captain? McAuley has captained us on a few occasions this season.
dandannieldanok Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 Bori can play left. But then we'll have no right winger.
lildave3 Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 But then we'll have no right winger. Humey with Big Barry up front possibly?
Nod.E Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 We finally get a team we are happy with and two of the main ingredients get injured. Why us?
Sods Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 All i hope is Ollie dosen't decide to play something stupid. Aka Fryatt out on the left. Keep it simple. Play Sheehan and Mattock together. Bring Weso or Osbourne in for Clemence. And bring Ngotty in for Kisnorbo. Dont be a plank.

We really need some cover for them wings though, one injury and we are slightly off balance again.

dandannieldanok Posted 17 January 2008 Posted 17 January 2008 Humey with Big Barry up front possibly? It's the most logical answer but it seems Hume doesn't like playing out on the wing. I know he should and would play anywhere for the team but if he isn't enjoying it his level of performance will be poor.
