It's not as if Wenger has been averse to playing English players just generally, he's found cheaper and better options abroad and who can blame him for doing this considering the pressure in football these days. To me, he should be commended for creating a fantastic team having not spent masses of money.

Whats the freaking point? Wenger is doing a great job and I ,for one, wouldn't care if Ollie brought 11 foreigners in our team if it meant plenty of success. I'll take that.

sdb Posted 22 January 2008 Posted 22 January 2008 they have like 4 regular french players. i'd like them to have a few more brits of course but they're a great team to watch and the prem would be a lot worse without wenger/fab/gallas/van p/hleb etc, not to mention henry/viera/overmars and co in the past
