The Stig Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Linky Would be a strange career move, hope what ever he does he crashes and burns.
davieG Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Is it just a coincidence that their form has dipped and Spurs has risen since Poyet moved.
AoWW Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Please. God. No. Blimey, you'd be forced into changing your favourite team. Best go and have a lie down to recover.
Ultra Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 It would really screw up Leeds.. But Bates will probably give him a pay rise to stay, and then come out with some bull about Leeds being a bigger club.

Blubbb Blubbber. *sniff* ------- What with Mr. Ashley pulling off a stunning coup to secure the services of Kevin Keegan, I was going to get a Newcastle Shirt with KING ASH on the back. If he appoints Wise in some capacity, I should change that to KIN GASH instead.
dandannieldanok Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 It would really screw up Leeds.. It would be a good move for them IMO, not just because I hate Wise but because he simply isn't a good manager, all the success this season appears to be down to Poyet.

lookwhaticando Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Leeds have agreed to let him join Newcastle (BBC Sport). It's on the Leeds United website, too. He'll leave after setting the squad up for their game tomorrow night.
Darkzzz_ Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 I cant believe football sometimes... surely it must be the money, to quit being a manager and to go and be director of football or what ever must be something seriously happening there!! I bet he is announced as the assistant!! Big kick in the teeth for shearer
Fox in a Box Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 I used to have a fond spot for the magpies........... NU not Notts County now i will never have such a soft spot for them. Ashley you fat git sack him.... before he destroys your club. Come on Leeds now get second spot in League 1 over forest.

I bet he is announced as the assistant!! Big kick in the teeth for shearer Hasn't Shearer already turned down the chance to be Asst Manager? As for Wise I suspect an ulterior motive of replacing Keegan as Manager when Keegan eventually gets the push, and he will do!
MPH Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Is it just a coincidence that their form has dipped and Spurs has risen since Poyet moved. great shout. No i dont think its a coincidence at all.... Will be interesting to know what sort of reception he will get at the game tomorrow night....
FleckneyFox Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 hes going in an executive management role but not Director of football cuz SSN have asked Newcastle. They reckon it could be Head of Recruitment but i think its Head of Thuggery, Joey Barton as his Assistant!
Super Arj Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 haha and those leeds bastards said he was a nice guy FOOLS
NorthernFox Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Might get a chance to t**t him one now he's coming round the corner.
MC Prussian Posted 28 January 2008 Posted 28 January 2008 Tempers are apparently rising in and around Leeds. WACCOE is now almost completely sealed off: http://www.waccoe.co.uk/index.php?showforum=1
Daggers Posted 29 January 2008 Posted 29 January 2008 Just watched the interview with Keegan - and it was obvious that he'd no previous idea about the situation prior to the interview itself! And as for his general level of satisfaction? Well, let's just say he didn't say "I'd love it, just love it, if he came to work with me!"
