As for Dot's Alan Bennett style monologue, as well acted as it was I don't know if it works in soaps. A lot was revealed about her past and why she is such a miserable old moaning git but I preferred it when I felt no sympathty for the old cow. It may get interesting this week though. According to my TV paper Stacey's going to go on an all night bender then down a bottle of Vodka resulting in her collapsing in the street then snuffing it. Selfish bitch she could have shared the booze amongst the other characters and taken a couple with her. The story lines have gone a bit stale lately the highlight being Ian getting his hand stuck in a drain and the new gay saving his bacon by making some volovons. Minty thinks he's managed to impregnate Garrys mother but will be disappointed when told there has to be two people present at the conception. Oh yes I miss Lofty too.

I stopped watching Eastenders when Pat Butcher would just appear from nowhere to get involved in peoples business and once I started calling her names and criticizing her ear-rings I decided it was in everyones best interests for me to just turn the TV over.
