Micky Ruddle Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Roy Keane hopes to seal a swap deal which could see Sunderland striker David Connolly going back to Leicester. The former Foxes hitman, 30, joined Wigan for £2m in summer 2005. He moved to Sunderland in a £1.4m deal a year later - but struggled to make an impact on Wearside. Leicester boss Ian Holloway would have to part with cash plus striker Matty Fryatt, 21.
tadeusz Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 i really hope not NOTW = Football rumours. It's drivvle.
davieG Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Why would any clubs be thinking seriously about transfer now - loan swap maybe? Besides Sunderland have a good chance of staying up, whatever anyone thinks of Fryatt at Championship level he's certainly not shown he's a Premier player.

Did you see him in Morrisons as well? If so it's a banker.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 We dont need Connolly but we will take Fulop for Fryatt,Ollie if you dealing with Keane price fryatt at £3mill.
Jay Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 what total rubbish!!! I know Keane seems to know f**k all about signing players but Fryatt hasn't exactly set the league on fire 2 league goals in 17 starts is nothing short of pathetic for a striker at any level. Although maybe if Keane really wants him maybe we could hold out for about £5million it's clear he hasn't got a clue when it comes to transfer values so could be a nice little earner!!
morris1234 Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Did you see him in Morrisons as well?If so it's a banker. yeah he was buying a bag of sarcasm for alexkormonpops but alex couldnt afford it so he decided keep quiet!!
Matt Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 This is time to fuk Roy Keane off, Connolly wouldn't be bad but I think i'd rather have Fryatt, Although he's not playing that much anyway. Fryatt for Fulop or no deal! OR and outrageous cash deal for Fryatt Fuk of Roy Keane! EDIT - I didn't realise it seems to be us initiating this deal, therefore a Fryatt for Fulop swap or Fryatt for cash deal would be a no-go, bollocks. Roy Keane - Whadda willy puller.
Father Ted Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Got Allen's sacking right though didn' they.. And Carl Cort. Oh and I would much rather have Fulop.
Jimmy Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 well it couldn't go through until the summer anyway so its bollocks
Moreton Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Fryatt for Fulop - Nothing Else with do. Roy Keane is and always will be a big tit.
Matt Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 well it couldn't go through until the summer anyway so its bollocks I see what your saying and I agree we may aswell wait till the summer to make a decision's on transfers e.t.c, but transfer deals can be done any time whether the window is open or not, It just the player would not join till the window opens.

Fox You Forest Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Got Allen's sacking right though didn' they.. There certain to get a small percentage right how much rubbish they write
Mort Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Sounds utterly groundless... but i'd take that deal in flash!
Alexikokopops Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 yeah he was buying a bag of sarcasm for alexkormonpops but alex couldnt afford it so he decided keep quiet!!
Bezzanator89 Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Would rather keep Fryatt, who's still got potential, compared to Connolly who enters the dreaded-thirties...
MikeyT Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Fryatt for Fulop - Nothing Else with do. Roy Keane is and always will be a big tit. Agreed!
Bezzanator89 Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 Fryatt for Fulop - Nothing Else with do. Roy Keane is and always will be a big tit. Amen brother!
clazkel Posted 17 February 2008 Posted 17 February 2008 It would be good to get Fulop and Connolly but don't want Fryatt to go, if he gets a run in the team he will prove what he's worth! Connolly left us when we wanted to keep him and went to Wigan Would love Fulop back tho!
