Joe's Chelsea Bashing Thread!

I went to Stamford Bridge this evening, my american cousin is over, he got tickets and it's only down the road from where I live. Chelsea were very very poor without Lampard and Drogba. They appeared to play large sections of the match with no formation at all. Malouda and Kalou in particular were awful. The equaliser was always coming and was good to see Bruno score right in front of me.

I was in the shed upper 3 rows from where I sat in the cup game, but had empty seats to the 150-200 or so Wigan fans who had bothered. Chelsea home support is woeful. They have about 2 songs and sing with no conviction at all.

A good evening out but a poor game of football. Grant clearly hasn't a clue and on that form they barely deserve to be as high as they are.

Just seen the goals, am I being very harsh or could both keepers have done better?

yeh perhaps, but kirkland made 2 unbelievable saves before from anelka and kalou

Cech is aspiring to be the Stig of football. Only ever seen in his trademark helmet. Ha

Just watching Bruno's goal again it's almost identical in position to Carl Cort's goal! And I was sat in almost the same place. Deja vu.

Familiar sight of the evening

He really annoys me when he does this.

What a great player and he's a big bloke as well, yet he goes down like a fairy. Something he really needs to cut out of his game.

Petr Cech was superb tonight. Made 3 vital saves, and kept Chelsea in it. I don't know why Riise went to clear it with his head, should have used his right foot.

I can't think of anything more boring than a Champions League final with Chelsea in it.

I can, a world cup final with Wales in it.

Yes, I went there.
