The money being thrown at it is ridiculous, as is the row between the IPL and the ICL. Surely it would be beneficial to everybody if there was jut one combined super league? I've got to be honest, I'm not a fan of the Twenty20 format, and personally I'd much rather watch test cricket. However, i also think that anything that brings more fans to the game is a good thing, so long as those who become interested aren't purely interested in the short form of the game. I can see one day ODI's being faced out over the next decade or so, and I don't think thats necessarily a bad thing, as its probably my least favourite form of the game.

Im more of a fan of test cricket (more an an excuse to watch cricket for 4-5 days straight). I hated 20-20 until i went to an Aussie India match and it was truly great.

The ICL isn't santureced by the ICC and is owned and run by different people to the IPL so can't see it ever mergeing but it would be good to see.

I hope one dayers don't get fazed out of the game cos i think all 3 have there place in cricket the fixtures just need to be tinkered.

Both Roy and Punter are both in shocking form at the moment and i wouldn't be paying them alot on present form

They look good so far on paper but will probably go for Kolkata as David Hussey is my fav player and aussises best batsmen

$1.5m for Dhoni? I'd much rather have Symonds or Ponting.

Symonds maybe cos he can bat and bowl.

But Dhoni is a very good bat and a decent keeper so he covers that base rather than haveing to use a keeper who can't bat

Im jumping on the Challengers this year i really like there side except for Dravid. They got a quality all rounder in Kallis (even if he is selfish), big hitters in White, Taylor, Peterson, Chanderpaul, Ryder. Good keeper batsman in Boucher. Worlds number one ODI bowler in Bracken who will keep it tighter than a virgin. Strike bowlers Khan, Steyn and Kumble.

Will defenitly improve on there 4 wins from last year

Is this on Setanta, like last year?

Jaipur won last year, Warne is a very good Captain/coach as he is a super taction. Will be hard to be again

Agree with that. Jesse Ryder was a very astute purchase for 150k, so long as he doesn't blow all the cash on getting pissed every night.
