Asha Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 I'm sort of still at the age where I go on it every day/night. Was just wondering as you get slightly older whether it loses it's appeal and whether it's as popular. How important a role does it play in people's lives? Discuss.
Brainy Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 I go on the computer most days so when im not busy i'll usually go sign in, but I rarely start a conversation with somebody. I'd usually just wait for someone else. Its helpful but ive never really found it "exciting".
MC Prussian Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 Overrated. Hence... http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/index.ph...mp;#entry920010

The Stig Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 Every now and then I'll go on it but only if I'm bored. People only end up saying Hi Hi Wat U Up 2 Nofin much u? Same l o l l o l (spaces are in so it doesn't turn it in to a smiley!)
lildave3 Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 Well I still use it as much. Easiest way to talk to people.

Same Yeah my conversation's are generally more sophisticated. Take now for example, I have a few girls perhaps willing to 'cam' out, I have my best mate with a serious relationship issue and a kid from my school repeatedly asking what 'NSLL' stands for, and I have my girlfriend, talking bout her Eduardo injury.
Ryanside Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 I use it as an "answer phone" type thing, always signed in when my computer is on. dont really use it for chit chat though

I never have that! The only people who sign in to MSN who I know are not decent conversation! I guess we know different people.
lookwhaticando Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 You'll grow out of it. I'm never on there. That's a blatant lie. You're always on MSN... just not when you're still concious.
Micky Ruddle Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 Still on it regular. Suppose i am 16. Just the usual conversations though.. Hello How are you? What have you been up to? Ok. Cya. Bye.
Asha Posted 3 March 2008 Author Posted 3 March 2008 I would post a request for more friends/contacts. Maybe not.
Finnegan Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 If the computer's on, MSN is on. I don't really see it as a piece of software I go on especially, it's just there if I want to say something to someone. It's basically just free txting.
FilboFox Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 I go on an wait until there is someone I want to talk to is on... To avoid chat with people I have no interest in talking to, I just set it as busy... deters them.

AoWW Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 That's a blatant lie. You're always on MSN... just not when you're still concious. But you enjoy your one-sided conversations so much, I don't like to interrupt. At least you weren't texting me all night last night... unlike someone who I'll allow to remain nameless.

I don't really see it as a piece of software I go on especially, it's just there if I want to say something to someone. It's basically just free txting. Exactly what I do. I have mine in the groups "People I talk to", "People I might talk to" and "People I don't talk to". There's only eight in the first group.
Koke Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 Only go on when I need to find someone. I check if they are online first before calling or texting them. As Finners said, its basically free texting.

Nath Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 Still on it regular. Suppose i am 16. Just the usual conversations though..Hello How are you? What have you been up to? Ok. Cya. Bye. Mr Ruddle, you know you love our convos.
Micky Ruddle Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 Mr Ruddle, you know you love our convos. Of course Nath. You do half make me larf mate.
lildave3 Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 Of course Nath. You do half make me larf mate. You live for the abuse.
Nath Posted 3 March 2008 Posted 3 March 2008 Of course Nath. You do half make me larf mate. Only half? Why do most of our convo's end up being poetic?
