Maybes Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008  you're having a shocker. Middlesborough's away fans haven't been given an awful lot of recognition sir, and they certainly haven't made me sit up and take notice. Lay off the Strongbow, eh? As an aside, how was the atmosphere in the Stuttgart game? Yeah whats all the middlesbrough loving about andy. Their away support is poor.
Father Ted Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Man U - they only go to watch Ronaldo and Rooney - typical glory boys! And as SA Ferguson and Roy Keane says - they are the prawn sandwich brigade.
Simi Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Man U - they only go to watch Ronaldo and Rooney - typical glory boys! And as SA Ferguson and Roy Keane says - they are the prawn sandwich brigade. Steady. Away from home they're one of the best in the Prem. All the proper lads are the ones that go to the away games.
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Man U - they only go to watch Ronaldo and Rooney - typical glory boys! And as SA Ferguson and Roy Keane says - they are the prawn sandwich brigade. Harsh.
lildave3 Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Harsh but True, well at home at least No, they are not the worst. There is still singing at Old Trafford.
Simi Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Before Roman... The Roman Generation at Chelsea... Main stand all waving flags given away by Roman!
Maybes Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 At least boro fans stand at away games. What all of them? Pah, I think not. Anyway some of us leicester fans stand at away games
dandannieldanok Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Wolves fans (despite their healthy numbers) are extremely intolerant, especially if things aren't quite going right at home games, worse than the atmosphere at the Walkers if they are losing.
Samilktray Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Man U - they only go to watch Ronaldo and Rooney - typical glory boys! And as SA Ferguson and Roy Keane says - they are the prawn sandwich brigade. Can you blame them?
Floating Fox Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 As an aside, how was the atmosphere in the Stuttgart game? Just the usual. I'm planning on going to Ze motherland again in May? You KEEN? What all of them? Pah, I think not. Anyway some of us leicester fans stand at away games Most Boro fans, if not all stand away from home. I'm not saying it's good, I just think saying they've got the worst, is v harsh. Wolves fans (despite their healthy numbers) are extremely intolerant, especially if things aren't quite going right at home games, worse than the atmosphere at the Walkers if they are losing. Good shout. Bloody Idiots, they thought they had it bad when they drew 1-1 at Christmas this year, didn't care that they were still in the top half & not facing relegation...
Guest Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Yea that aswell. But the football fans up there will support United or Liverpool. Man City fans would probably have something to say about that!
act smiley Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 And, they don't deserve to be in the prem if they don't have the support. Go back to Division 4 where you belong you waynekerrs. I can't hate those teams' fans, only pity them, as there's 5,000-10,000 actual fans there having to trade their side's soul for success.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Blackburn. Actually yeah how could i not think of that their fans are an absolute joke!!
Daggers Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Bristol were shit yesterday. Large away contingent and yet the first song I heard was as they got onto the train home...and then five of them were thrown off at Nuneaton for singing - which is probably why they don't do it that often.

They would probably have only brought 800 with them if they were doing shite
purpleronnie Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Burnley. Dont they get the highest attendance in comparison to the population?
purpleronnie Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 What all of them? Pah, I think not. Anyway some of us leicester fans stand at away games Most do, the didnt used to but 90+% do now. Yes some leicester stand but its more like 10% if that.
Joe. Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Bolton? Wigan? Reading? Middlesbrough? To be honest, I think the reason these teams get very few fans is because of crazy ticket prices and their geographical locations.
purpleronnie Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Bolton? Wigan? Reading? Middlesbrough? To be honest, I think the reason these teams get very few fans is because of crazy ticket prices and their geographical locations. Its not just about amount of fans, its the lack of atmosphere.
Joe. Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Its not just about amount of fans, its the lack of atmosphere. Plenty of clubs are guilty of that. Just go to just about every Championship ground and you'll see it.
Bert Posted 9 March 2008 Posted 9 March 2008 Dont they get the highest attendance in comparison to the population? Its not just about amount of fans, its the lack of atmosphere. Contradictive, to say the least.
