Holloway The Gift Of The Gab

Recommended Posts

Posted

The football we have been watching under Holloway maybe marginally better than before, you may agree or disagree with that.

But while Holloway has been telling us of all the So Called "Improvments" the facts on Ian Holloways reign tell us a different story.

The fact is we have not improved under his management.

Before Holloway (League Games)

P15 W3 D8 L4 F14 A12 PTS17

Ave of 1.1333 Pts Per Game

Under Holloway (League Games)

P22 W6 D6 L10 F20 A22 PTS24

Ave Of 1.090909 Pts Per Game

(Sheff Wed currently with 39Pts from 35 Games)

((Ave of 1.1142857 Pts Per Game))

So on "Current 22 game Form" Leicester City ((WILL)) be relegated from the championship.

Holloway must stop giving us BS at interviews and start acknowledging that

Things ARE NOW  DESPERATE AT LCFC!!!!

he hasn't even got the gift of the gab ; ( which implies interesting humorous banter )

he does talk a lot , but but its dull repetitious crap

I must admit that while I don't want him to be sacked at all, the sight of his face really annoys me now. I turned on Football Focus on Saturday and there he was blabbering about his love for Bristol Rovers. When we're in the shit that sort of stuff grates.

Definitely. The geezer is a gas head and we all know it but he doesn't have to flaunt it infront of millions of people while he's supposed to be getting us out of the shit.

What a load of crap. Those stats don't take into account our current form (last 5 games) and pre/post window wins.

I think its only fair to include all Holloways results, based on all 22 games not 5 you are on about.

We are the most erratic team in the Championship so over 5 games you will not see the true form of this side.

City's form, or lack of consistancy, tells me that there is every likelyhood we will be in the bottom 3 after the WBA game.

The problem has to be mental rather than footballing ability. Players like Kisnorbo, McAuley, Oakley, Clemence and Howard would walk into most Championship teams. Player for player we are superior to Bristol City, Plymouth, Blackpool and many others performing much better than oursleves. But its as a unit that they are better, they fight harder for each other and if they suffer a setback they respond positively, whereas we just crumble and feel sorry for ourselves. Why? maybe the constant change of manager and high turnover of players in the past 4 years has affected continuity, plus the weight of expectation of getting back to the Prem or being the next O'Neill, Lennon or Izzet, is something maybe certain players carnt handle. I imagine some of these players would flourish at clubs like Blackpool or Plymouth where expectation is less. There is also a losing mentality within the club, and that includes players, staff and supporters. When we go and watch at the Walkers these days, we turn up half expecting to lose and I feel thats what the players are like also. Though Im still of the belief that we are not far away from being a half decent side. Desperately need a leader on the pitch. Not had one since the likes of Walsh, Elliott, Taggart and Lennon left.

The point of this thread is that Holloway has had 22 games to improve us (HE HAS NOT) we are still getting just 1 point per game,

IMO 22 games is enough time to have some sort of positive response on the field in terms of points, on Saturday, true, City could of scored a hatfull ((BUT THEY DIDN'T)) equally Norwich away we could of been hammered!!

But so what ? individual games like that mean nothing what so ever.

It does not matter how Holloway dresses it up with excuses 1 POINT PER GAME IS HIS RETURN AS MANAGER OF LEICESTER CITY..... thats the only thing that concerns me.

(FACT) Our current 22 game form of 1 Point per game for the remaining 9 games WILL get us relegated..

IMO

If we lose our next 2 games Soton & WBA WE MUST SACK HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about a leader off the pitch.

How the fook is that a fact. God sake.

That will be 50 points. I never knew 50 points was a certainty for relegation :frusty:

Well on current form it would, Holloway was brought in to improve us, after 22 games we are getting less from his games in charge than the first 15 at the start of the season(Before he came).. thats called going backwards.

You can feel the tension on here tonight! Flippin' heck people, chill out!

We are currently one point better off than my plan to keep us up. As I said a couple of weeks back, we need to beat Preston, ok we didn't, but we won at Cardiff, which I penciled in for a loss, and then got a point against Bristol, again I'd factored in a loss there. I've also factored in losses in our next two games. No problem. Chill out.

WE NEED TO WIN THESE GAMES - Sheff Wed, Colchester, Hull, S****horpe all at home. SORTED.

If we can't finally beat crap at home that's below us, then we are truly crap ourselves and deserve to go down.

Nuff said.

I'm not going to say anything as I'll just get the usual people arguing with me again other than I think that Ollie is doing a good job at Leicester and he should be given the support until AT LEAST the middle of next season.

I don't think we are going down and we will sort this out but things aren't nearly as bad as a lot of you make out... you are exaggerating things ridiculously and are making it worse with such negativity. I was talking to friends that support Leicester and they all think you lot on here are nuts thinking that Holloway isn't doing a good enough job!

Levein

Adams

Worthington

Megson

Burrows...

I think I'd rather Ollie be in charge and lets face it, who else would WANT to be our manager!?!
