Master Fox Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I was shocked to read yesterday that 37 different players have appeared for us this season. Unbelievable! Not one of them has been any good.

Trav Le Bleu Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I was shocked to read yesterday that 37 different players have appeared for us this season. Unbelievable! Not one of them has been any good. Doesn't surprise me in the least. Wouldn't agree on the last comment though, some of the newer players have had good runs - Oakley and Hendrie (ok, so 2 games in, but not yet put a foot drastically wrong)
Ric Flair Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 If I remember rightly we've signed 27 players this season alone.

Maybe a couple of the defenders?

Thracian Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 I was shocked to read yesterday that 37 different players have appeared for us this season. Unbelievable! Not one of them has been any good. I don't agree none are any good. Had the present side started the season itr would have been an excellent basis for progress. We are struggling now, not because we have lousy players but because they're getting anxious and there's ever less margin for error Holloway's problem now seems to be less about the players he's got and more about how to use them effectively and that includes getting them in the right frame of mind which needs to be one of total confidence, focus and belief in themselves.
Master Fox Posted 10 March 2008 Author Posted 10 March 2008 Fulop Well apart from him, but he’s gone. Which is another one of Milan’s mistakes. Why fcuk couldn’t he cough up an extra million or so it would have taken to sign him permanently? Only a couple of players may have had the odd good game here and there, but it’s whether they perform on a consistent basis, which they haven’t. Every single one of them has been sh*t, too early to include Hendrie or Etuhu.
Sods Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 Lee Hendrie, Matt Oakley, Ben Alnwick, Martin Fulop, James Wesolowski, Levi Porter. The only players that have consitantly impressed me when played. 2 Injured 2 On loan 1 Not even in our squad
Corky Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 Gareth McAuley, Patrick Kisnorbo, Matty Oakley, Lee Hendrie, Marton Fulop have all done well this season. By and large Humey has done well but has missed some good chances. Really impressed by how well Stearman has done in the last two months or so, and whenever James Chambers has played he hasn't let us down.
Joe. Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 37?! Jesus that's a lot. Just shows how shit we've been this season.

act smiley Posted 10 March 2008 Posted 10 March 2008 Half of them are ones that looked good on paper though - Chambers and Clemence were ones that I was extremely hopeful about and I thought that DJ would do well, though even then it was obvious we'd paid too much. Clive Clark had been showing signs of being a solid player, too, before his heart attack. Hayes and Sappleton might come good long term, while N'Gotty has provided solid backup. We're performing dreadfully as a team, and while there's obviously worthless signings like Djeziri, Ferreira and Hellings, the signings who have played haven't necessarily been the core of the problem, just been underwhelming in fixing it.

HEY! He won t even be here next season, ollie as 3 very poor players to get out of this club before adding 3 or 4 quality players in summer and levi is one of them, sorry but he will never make it. The other 2 being hammond and rab!
