Benjani Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 It's clear that they are better than home games. More atomosphere, new surroundings, more exciting, BERNIE, haha. I reckon Blackburn away was quite good, in the FA cup. oooooohhh gary GARY Lineker. And also Reading away was fun, I think that was in the same competition. And Fulham was good last year. What are your faves?
Lovejoy Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Yeah Fulham last year was quality. Also this year, the obvious choices of Forest, Villa and Chelsea. However my all-time favourite is still Luton from '05-'06. Chris O'Grady: last minute!!!
Bellend Sebastian Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Derby 0 Leicester 4 ...and after 15 minutes as well. I had to keep pinching myself. Marvellous day out

Chris O'Grady: last minute!!! if Luton away is your ALL TIME favourite away game , then you have really suffered, you really have i was was there too and its always nice beating them - coming from Bedford OOOHH Tommy Wrights late show at Southend a few years back and the Rooster at Blackburn were great i'll have to think more about this one
Leicester Rule! Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Blackburn FA Cup - 0-1 - 8,000 LCFC fans but ended up being a poor game. Charlton FA Cup - 2 - 1 - what a game and what a goal by Dion!! Vienna UEFA Cup - 1- 3 - great experience to watch Leicester in europe. Fulham / Chelsea (Cup) Lost 4-3 but at least we got goals to cheer. Acrington Stanley and Hereford would be up there. Barnsley away last year. man u wen we beat them.
morris1234 Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 i liked forest alot because alot of my mates support them so it was a great game. 1-0 and you fooked it up lol
Leicester Rule! Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 ooo i forgot. hillsbrough wen there was 9 minutes injury time and izzet scored to make it 1-1 ... then tricky trev score in extra time.
General Smuts Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Chelsea this year will take some beating. Only time atmosphere has even bin close to that was the Wembley trips i made as a wee un which i barely remember. Derby, Palace, Boro, Spurs (Booo), Tranmere - im sure im missing one. All great days out even spurs At least im assuming they were

Anyway I was with the gf and some mates all of whom are Luton fans so to nick it in the last minute was priceless .
Head Honcho Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Some years ago now but Orient away when we got promoted was something special.
dandannieldanok Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Chelsea 3-4 Man City 3-0 Reading 2-1 Forest 2-1
Finchy Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Derby 0 Leicester 4...and after 15 minutes as well. I had to keep pinching myself. Marvellous day out Agreed, although i was sitting with the Derby fans because my mum got the tickets from Pride Park , my dad only got threatened a few times, and that was probably only because we stood up and cheered after every goal.
hairy Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Wimbeldon when we beat them 3-1 in the League but the best one when we went through on away goals in the semi of the cup was a fantastic night of singing and beer.
Wycombe Fox Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 v Everton at Goodison Park, December 1985. They were the reigning Champions and we'd already beaten them 3-1 at home in the first game of the season (which if I remember correctly was Gary Lineker's debut game for Everton after leaving us in the summer). We beat them 2-1 at their place to complete the double over them. They only lost eight games all season and lost the title to Liverpool by two points. Sadly the optimism after the first game didn't last - we didn't win for another nine games!! Some things never change.

Muz Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Preston last season was quality. Blackpool this season was funny 'till Dickhead ruined it
ASH17LCFC Posted 11 March 2008 Posted 11 March 2008 Derby away when we won 3-2 and wimbledon in the semi finals back in 97 ... que sera que sera
