isaidno Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 The Gazza of Snooker. Gifted player but very fragile. This is what was said The foul-mouthed snooker ace stunned a packed press conference after crashing out of the £250,000 China Open in Beijing.Chinese reporters asked him through a translator about his form and O’Sullivan joked: “F***ing hell, this is the longest question in the world.” Then he put the mic between his legs and asked a pal next to him: “What shape is yours then?” The smirking star turned to reporters and asked: “Wanna come and suck that later? Suck my c*ck? Anyone wanna give me a nosh? Suck my d*ck?” He continued answering questions – with many reporters puzzled. But later he asked: “F*** me – how many questions are they going to ask?” Squeezing the microphone, he joked to the pal: “Mine gets fatter at the end. Does yours? Good girth – good width.” An onlooker said: “Ronnie seemed to have gone completely potty. I have never heard anything like it from a top sportsman.” The 32-year-old – who is known for his low boredom threshold and has been treated for depression – once said he did not like playing in China as “they don’t speak English”. He has now risked a number of big-money Far East sponsorship deals that make him the sport’s highest off-table earner, including a six-figure deal with a Chinese watch company and a separate deal worth up to £500,000. He also faces a massive fine from World Snooker, the sport’s governing body. A spokesman said last night: “We have received the footage and it is under review.”
Fez of Mahrez Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 Must drive you mental answering the same mind-numbing questions constantly.
Floating Fox Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 Must drive you mental answering the same mind-numbing questions constantly. And getting paid shit loads for it...Poor bastard....
James. Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 Twat Err why? Fair play to him. He's had a rough life off the table and it sounds like he's really enjoying his snooker now. It was quite amusing. A bit of harmless fun. The guy has more talent in his little finger than most snooker players can ever dream of so if he wants to have a bit of fun with the Chinese then what's the f**king problem!
Raj Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 Must admit he's abit of a cock sometimes(arrogant!) BUT that was just a bloke whos miles away from home, having just lost a game, which is his livelihood and now having to endure a tedious press conference in a language he doesnt understand!!! Give the guy a break surely???

Messi Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 He should have more respect, oh they dont speak english over here boo hoo. What a muppet. So What...give the guy a break...so u would be the most happiest man alive if you are miles away from home, they are speaking a different language which sounds like hui jo yog jen etc and you have just lost a match? i think not ....it had me in stitches. Ronnie O'Sullivan
James. Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 He should have more respect, oh they dont speak english over here boo hoo. What a muppet. If any sport needs characters then its snooker. Not only is he massively talented but he's also an exciting player, unpredictably brilliant and volatile. The game needs people like him, especially at a time when it is struggling to attract sponsors. Why are you letting some relatively harmless comments that you happen to disagree with blind you to all the good things about him. He's a sportsman we should all be proud of. Seems to me like another example of the British attitude of looking for the tiniest opening to knock our most successful sport people.
purpleronnie Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 I am miles away from home and they don't speak english over here either.

I second this post. Don't see anything wrong with it at all tbh.
purpleronnie Posted 28 March 2008 Posted 28 March 2008 Yeah nothing like disrespecting people. Everyone should do it.
Raj Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Yeah nothing like disrespecting people. Everyone should do it. I honestly dont think he was disrespecting the reporters. Think he was just bored and fcuked off after losing.
