C-man Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Why does everyone hate him? I think he played really well today...
davieG Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 I'm not biased I think they've all been pretty awful all season and wouldn't feel inclined to defend any of them. Even today when you might have expected a 90 minute never say die approach there were too many half hearted performances. I'm grateful for the win because fortunately we were playing a team that were technically inferior even though at times they passed better than us..
maddog Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 He's out for the season. Yes YES!!!!! Hope he's fighting fit for next season though just in case we need him. Also Fryatt is the best thing since sliced bread! EDIT: For the Rev
The Reverend Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 Yes YES!!!!!Hope he's fighting fit for next season though just in case we need him. Can you edit this post please, and say that Fryatt is the best thing since sliced bread? That would make it funnier.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 29 March 2008 Posted 29 March 2008 I like Clem, you could see him encouraging the team when he came on. He's one of those players that doesn't stand out because he doesn't do a lot wrong. Steady player, should keep him for next season, providing we don't go down. However, im thinking the captains armband should go to Kisnorbo or Oakley next season. Should go to Lee Hendrie providing he comes here next year!!

Thracian Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 He's out for the season. He's been "out" for most of the season anyway!
Mort Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Clem's been no worse or better than any of our other players, but still he gets the stick, probably because expectations were very high with him to start... but the likes of Kisnorbom Hume and Fryatt get away with far poorer displays and still get cheered to rafters. Its a shame he's out, but it's been pretty obvious that he's been carrying an injury that needs some proper attention... fair play to him for fighting on and be good to have him back and fully fit next season.
Scaramanga! Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 for the rest of the season. torn calf. Did he even touch the ball yesterday?
mat_j101 Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Barely. Its a shame, but im sure we will be fine with Hendrie and Oakley in the middle.
Lovejoy Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Barely. Its a shame, but im sure we will be fine with Hendrie and Oakley in the middle. No Hendrie next week though because he can't play against the club that owns him.
Jimmy Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 No Hendrie next week though because he can't play against the club that owns him. so Weso will stay in CM and either Laczko, Mattock or Bell will play left wing with either Clapham back at left back or Etuhu on the right
Ultra Posted 30 March 2008 Posted 30 March 2008 Or N'Gotty could play central midfield. As Holloway says, we have plenty of options there. Losing Clemence isn't the blow it might have been earlier in the season.
Raj Posted 31 March 2008 Posted 31 March 2008 He's out for the season. Good! I mean oh no!!!!!! He has failed to reach the dzzying heights i expected of him. Next year he wil be a world beater.... FACT! ALLEGEDLY!
