Watched Paxman's documentary 'Empire' last night. Worth a watch if you like that sort of thing.

I knew the British were bastards back then but I didn't realise just what a brutal set of cnuts we were a few generations ago.

Shakespeare in Love ITV 3 Not bad actually. Thought it was going to be just romantic but there is quite a bit comedy in too.

Had to do Romeo and Juliet at night school when I did a GSCE course (I flopped i Dis the aftermath and what the familes did to resolve their differences. Also a poem based on one that was in the play. Never rely appreciated it before that but a good story which has been reworked several times.

Shakespeares just describing how the play ends and when he finishes one of those listening says 'That'll have them rolling in the aisle'

Returning to it: Fringe

Anyone else watching it? By the time I got halfway through S1 I'd decided I'll probably persist for the next three seasons.

I'm particularly enjoying the manic and formerly-institutionalised scientist.

Just watched the second "Sherlock" series.

BBC and Britian in general are so good with Crime/Mystery series. I love them but all too often the American shows treat you as dumb spelling everything out whereas the English are quite superb in general.

Sherlock could be in the mix for best Crime series ever.

Is there going to be another series of Sherlock? It ended so weirdly and still tring to think of ways it can be explained. The tick is is to think like the writers and use their style.

Of course there'll be another series but we'll have to wait a year.

Clues were there for us to see it was going to be staged - remember him speaking to the female assistant.

Yes but unless somebody had a mask on he did go off the roof. May need to watch it again then. Unless he pushed Moriharty off the roof.. I know something went off because suicide would not be in his character so I never believed it happened its just how it was done. Probably simple. It normally is.
