shen Posted 1 May 2008 Posted 1 May 2008 And dubious refereeing decisions. Nothing changes as any Leicester fan will tell you. I bet Chelsea never vote for new technology! What? They were the better side yesterday! Liverpool never played the way they can, and it was clear in extratime that Chelsea wanted this most. Well done to them!
Fat Ron Posted 1 May 2008 Posted 1 May 2008 Looks like we are in for a 'Great' final The referee last night was spot on for disallowing Essiens goal by the way despite what Andy 'I know **** all' Gray said.. 3 players clearly in an offside position and gaining an advantage by being there Not 100% sure that Hypia should have had a penalty (imo) BUT the referee put his whistle to his mouth and then changed his mind, asking for trouble if you ask me!! First half, Chelsea better side... 2nd Half Liverpool far better side, but what changed the game for me was Rafa taking Torres off Even at 3-1 Liverpool had an advantage because they could and should have thrown everything to them in the last 10, without Torres goes your main threat. Oh well, Jose for Liverpool

Well done to them! Cant agree that Chelsea where the better side but as you say, in extra time it was clear they wanted it more.
Darkzzz_ Posted 1 May 2008 Posted 1 May 2008 You know what pisses me off the most!! I was driving to work this morning and i seen a few people i know, on my short travel whilst stuck next to tresham college, wearing chelsea shirts, i have never seen them wearing them before and i was sure the youngest one was supporting Manchester United a few years back!! How can you really really feel the passion being like that, i am glad i am a city fan, i hate these fake fans, one of them even shouted going down to divison 3 mate!! I nearly ran the little maggot over, he is so inept that he really does not have a clue about football in general... But these fans think they no it all.... i did have the last laugh, as i shouted, "how many times have you been to stamford bridge??" and he soon shut up as i said " i have been more times than you" Oh and for the record he has never been there, i have been there 5 times, four watching Leicester play... Once against palace!! Bellend!! Anyone else get this kind of crap on a daily basis??

One of the lads I drink with is a bit like that, had a Blackburn shirt when they won the League In fairness I gre up in the 80's and back in the day I followed Liverpool, still look out for thier results and enjoy watching them every now and again but as I grew up I learnt the values of football and began following my home town team. I was disapointed to see Liverpool go out last night but I havent got time for sympathies, got my own big game this Sunday!!
Simi Posted 1 May 2008 Posted 1 May 2008 Got exactly what I expected today. We have a lot of Liverpool "fans" at our college, all day it was "I can't beleive it, absolutely gutted", "I don't want to talk about it". Giving it the big depressed reaction. I have to sympathise with them really, must be horrible going out in Champions League semi-finals. Don't know how they cope with the depression of it to be honest. We should thank ourselves lucky we haven't got to choose between the likes of David Villa and Daniel Alves, or face watching League 3 football next year.

How must they cope?
