christoff542 Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Anyone else got a nano or any of the other iPods? I just bought one today in America. $159 overall so about £80. It's the 4GB. Also does anyone have any problems with theirs just wondering how reliable they are
hairy Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I've got one. It works fine. The screen is a little small to watch movies on though
lildave3 Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Nope  Haven't got a Nano myself, but I haven't heard of any problems with it.
SamL Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I've got an Ipod Touch which is only about a month old. It's pretty decent, haven't had many problems with it so far. Just don't leave it plugged into the computer too long though.
Ozwin Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I had a a 4Gb Nano, the red one. It was great, I even put it in the washing machine like a berk and it came out working, eventually, after being left in the window to dry for a day. However now the scroll wheel doesn't work. So I decided to splash out on my Birthday and got an iPod Classic, plays videos and all sorts. It's a pretty nifty little thing.
Simi Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I seem to have a problem with my iTouch. I'm deleting songs off there, at least I think I am. Yet it's still telling me that it's full and I can't add anything more on?
Guest seanfox778 Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I got a 30gb video iPod a couple of years ago and i've dropped it loads of times and it's still going strong (touch wood)

James. Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 I bought my iPod over 4 years ago. Proper brick but still going strong. The more sophisticated they become the more unreliable and prone to breaking. Keep it retro.
BoneHead. Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 My Nano occasonally freezes but you can easily reset it without damagin the content of he Pod

Yet it's still telling me that it's full and I can't add anything more on? Tesco do an electrical helpline which is very helpful. The number is on the website
Cal Posted 1 April 2008 Posted 1 April 2008 Is the Touch worth buying, Im talking about the 16GB one which is about err £270 or something
The Reverend Posted 2 April 2008 Posted 2 April 2008 I had a Nano for a year or so, served me well enough, no problems at all, but thats now been sold to the brother and i have a 30gb one now. Ipods are great. Never had a problem with either.
Father Ted Posted 2 April 2008 Posted 2 April 2008 My Nano occasonally freezes but you can easily reset it without damagin the content of he Pod Same with mine. That's the only problem

Yet it's still telling me that it's full and I can't add anything more on? Thats odd. Can't say I've had too many problems with mine so far. I've just noticed the iPod doesn't show up in My Computer but shows up in iTunes It's connected and everything so I don't see why it won't show up. It's not necessary that it does, I was just wondering why it doesn't. Anybody got any ideas?
SamL Posted 2 April 2008 Posted 2 April 2008 Is the Touch worth buying, Im talking about the 16GB one which is about err £270 or something Depends what you're looking for. The iTouch is ok, the navigation and storage are good. If you think you'd put over 4000 songs on it then by all means buy the 16Gb, if not go for the 8.

SamL Posted 2 April 2008 Posted 2 April 2008 The protection Apple put on the products I think. I'm not sure. Back in the day, when I had a Nano I always used to be able to put pictures on it through the device icon in My Computer.
