This is a home banker, Sturrock the argyle manager has said on radio devon it would be heartbreaking to see wednesday relegated again( sounds like he will be given it 100 per cent). The other twist is plymouth would love to see holloway relegated. Happy days

Nonsense. Plymouth are in the play-off scrap and they will be fighting.

However, such a topsy-turvy league theres no way I'd guess either way.

To be fair, thats a bit like saying COlchester weren't going to turn up yesterday because they're already relegated so don't have anything to play for.

If Plymouth win tomorrow, they're only 3 points off the play offs. You never know what can happen.

I can see what you mean but I can't see why a team would want to lose to spite an ex manager.

:frusty: Paul and the boys love Wednesday more than any other club down here but they are professionals and have a job to do. They're still in with a realistic shout of the playoffs and they have to win. If we win tomorrow it will be because we deserved to win.

Our old striker Steve MacLean will have a point to prove too after he was booted out of the club by people upstairs despite being our top scorer for the last few seasons. It's going to be a difficult game. As for the Holloway comment that too is utter nonsense.

Good player!

Colchester had nothing to play for yesterday and gave everything even so. Also they had a LCFC fan in Defence in Heath. Plymouth will turn up same as ever.

Very good player. It was a travesty we let him go, Another mistake to add to the ever-growing list by our current board.

Like you say previous loyalties mean nothing in football. It'll be the 90 minutes that decide it.

Can someone get this thread closed please.

I started a thread exactly the same as this yesterday and it was closed immediately.

Mate, you're talking so much sense I almost feel bad about wanting your team to lose tomorrow.

Plymouth go 1 place, and 3 points of a play-off spot if they win tomorrow, TBH it's looking unlikely they'll finish in the play-off spots with the amount of teams competing for it, and Wolves have a game in hand, but while they still have a chance there not just going to roll over just because they want to save Sheff Wed.

Tomorrow night there will be two teams competing for something very important, I just hope its Ollie's ex employers who come out on top, no disrespect or anything to the Sheff Wed fan on here.

Besides I think i've worked out a plot to relegate Coventry.

-Sheff Wed lose tomorrow.

-Sheff Wed to win next Saturday, Leicester to win next Saturday, Coventry to lose next Saturday.

-A draw between Leicester v Sheff Wed, Coventry relegated? :dunno:

That'll suit me.

I would be beyond shocked if Wednesday didnt win this one.
As I said on a previous thread, I can see Wednesday being safe by the time they come to play us. Back to back wins for them against Plymouth and Blackpool.

I hope you're right.

certain 3 points Sheff Wed i'm devestated to say

Dont be so sure of that just yet. I know Argyle have been poor lately but we need this game as much as Wednesday. As for wanting to see Leicester religated, I think i can safely say that most Plymouth fans havn't got any issues with your club, just your manager. If he wasn't so full of bullsh1t he would of been sacked weeks ago.

hope you're right but i just can;t see it. They'll want it more than you and are in a bit more form (plus decent home support).

What's your team news looking like? We should have a couple more players back from injury in the squad. The Dutch kid Esajas (very talented) and Bullen should make the bench.

:( Steve MacLean is nailed onto score. Even still I fancy us to win.

Hamolsi is set to return from injury and is the main threat to wednesday, but we've got trouble in defence with Seip disrupting the team by refusing to tke the bench last week and subsequently being fined 2 weeks wages and listed. Its going to be close as just lately our strikers seem to be like Leicesters and sem afraid to shoot.

There may not be many of us which is disapointing seeing that we have had a good season overall but we can hold our own against larger home support as we proved at the Walkers. I agree with you that the form we're in is not the best but with Hamosi back anythingcould happen
