Matt Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Hamolsi is set to return from injury and is the main threat to wednesday, but we've got trouble in defence with Seip disrupting the team by refusing to tke the bench last week and subsequently being fined 2 weeks wages and listed. Its going to be close as just lately our strikers seem to be like Leicesters and sem afraid to shoot. Our players ain't afraid to shoot, their just shite at shooting, look at our stats we have shot after shot after shot but miss after miss after miss....
davieG Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Can someone get this thread closed please.I started a thread exactly the same as this yesterday and it was closed immediately. It wasn't deleted it was merged into the Relegation Watch topic but it appears the forum needs this as a seperate topic, I guess I misjudged the mood of the forum . nothing personal.
Flynny Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Can someone get this thread closed please.I started a thread exactly the same as this yesterday and it was closed immediately. I'd have closed this one as well personally, but since its been left to run by people whose judgement I frankly trust better than my own (not to mention outrank me ), and I've only just got on, its staying.

Bluefoxtim Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 To be fair, we still have to play Sheff Wed and our superior goal difference (at the moment) would essentially act as an extra point. Am I being ridiculous to say it may be enough to just win against Sheff wed?
Koke Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Not only do we need these pastie eating slags to beat Wednesday tomorrow, but we also need them to beat Blackpool on the 26th (the day we face Wednesday). We'll return the favour one day. We promise. Honest.
tartanowl Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Definate Sheffield Wednesday win. Is this on tele? Skysports Monday match.
Koke Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I've worked out a way that we can relegate the scum (or Blackpool if shit hits the fan and the plan doesn't work out.). I'm sure Wednesday are up for putting this plan into practice. We could be partners in crime and establish a relationship for life. Obviously if Wednesday lose tomorrow, then all bets are off, and it's each man on his own.
Daggers Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I'm with you but by the time I got logged on it was well established I remember the good old days when stuff like that wouldn't have bothered the old fascist Mods. Rod of iron, they had. Ruled with sticks, They did. Posters typed in quiet fear - not like these days where they cock snooks and demand thread closures. Gimme my deleting powers back!

Pilgrim Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Hey, wash your mouth with soap my friend. King Baz >> The entire Plymouth squad Glad to se you guys still have a sense of humour Keep fighting and we'll try to bale you out of the mire and hopefully get somewhere near the playoffs in the process. Heres hoping we both get what we want.
teblin Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I understand why you do. We all want our team to survive first and foremost however possible. To be fair the Championship need clubs like Leicester and Wednesday. Well supported, "big" clubs. I have a feeling Blackpool are bottling it.

And I hope you get a play off spot at the expense of Wolves.
teblin Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 We not a big club, but we are well supported. We are a big championship club. Just performing poorly, i'd say support was ohne of the things that makes you a big club.

CupidStunt Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I have no doubt in my mind that wednesday will this match I may put a fiver on them, and hope i lose the fooker.....i normally do.... but knowing my luck,it will just come in.
Legend_in_blue Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 We need Wednesday to lose this game now. If they win, forget it, we're gone. Should they lose, and we match their result next weekend, we're still safe as long as we beat them at home in 2 weeks time. Assuming the goal difference still holds up. Clutching at straws? Hope not.
Plymouth Pete Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 I am sure we will do our best to do you a favour. The good news is we are expecting Peter Halmosi, our most influential player back after suspension/injury. The other thing is we appear to get better results away than home! So heres hoping.

Why are people forgetting that Coventry only have 1 more point than us and are really struggling, as are Blackpool who only have 2 points more than us. Coventry have Colchester (A), Wolves (H) and Charlton (A) where they won't get more than 4 points. Blackpool have Sheff Weds (H), Plymouth (A) and Watford (H) where they wont get more than 3 points, leaving us needing 4 points for survival. It's not just us vs Wednesday for relegation, is my point.

It's not just us vs Wednesday for relegation, is my point. We need as much help we can get, Plymouth winning would be a huge step towards helping us. As i've said I have a plot to relegate Coventry, I doubt what I have plotted will happen but: Plymouth win against Sheff Wed tomorrow. Leicester win next week, Sheff Wed win next week, Coventry lose next week (Not realising they have Colchester before now ) A draw between Leicester and Sheff Wed...Relegation for Coventry?!
potter3 Posted 13 April 2008 Posted 13 April 2008 Is it just me? But I really can't wait until this game is finished so I can know the result
