Legend_in_blue Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I posted about problems loading my game on PS3 a couple of days back. The solution being to log out of the network and load it up again. Problem with that was as soon as I tried to log into an online game, having gone back into the network in game, the game then locked up. Anyway, tried it today, logged into network, loaded the game and it worked. Strange. Don't get it. One day it don't work, the next it does. I still haven't tried online, the single player is too good to put down. At 22.88% completion and loving it! The middle island is HUGE!!! Just dropped off the Playboy guy there. That mission was quality. The cover and fire system has really improved from San Andreas.
Babylon Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Moment of the game so far was the "Heat" style bank robbery and then cruising in a yellow hummer at night through the "time square" area with all the neon lights. Not sure if it was planned but Kanye West - Flashing lights came on the radio just as I entered the area.... awesome.
morris1234 Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 i love this game sooooo much and its just the comedy in it that tops it off for me! some of the stuff on the radio and some niko says just crack me up(especially the constant ones about getting killed by pharmacutical products)! post some of the funny bits youve heard, on the radio wktt or something 'i was nagry so i tried meditation but instead i smashed her car windows in, pissed on the front seat and took a dump in the main fan, so now everytime she turns on the air con the car smells like my shit' the bit niko talks to vlad ' for a yokel youre a funny man' niko- 'and for an annoying fat **** youre an annoting fat ****' lol

potter3 Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 One of the best things is getting a fast big car like a Police Patriot or HUntley Sport thingy, and tearing down one of the big shopping roads down the middle of the island, and smashing into normal cars. You can mangle them so much You can also set them n fire with one big hit too And the people in the car actually die or get out and collapse rather than just sit there in a mashed up car like they did on the old ones

Funny how as you get older, the time you can allow for games gets smaller & smaller. Still... gonna put it on now for a bit I think...

Once you get the coke don't go running about, stay in the room with the coke. You have a vest in there and a medi kit next door. Just hide behind something and shoot the shit out of any police that come by... eventually you'll kill that many you can make a careful run for it. Watch out though new police are arriving all the time. Eventually you can get out and it's then just a case of out running choppers and quite a few cop cars. Head for near by tunnels... that will lose the choppers.

I got close to getting away from the cops but a cop car came out of nowhere smashing into the side of my car and flipping it, i had to get out and to my suprise there was a bloody copper waiting to blast the s*it out of me was so close. cheers for the tunnel idea though, il try that one online on PS3 anyone?

I might have read the strategy guide I was actually going to add that I have a feeling there is a much easier way, but I think it would have taken me forever to find that out!!!! (without cheating) Having said that there are so many police half the time I couldn't even make it out the door without getting shot in the face.

I did all that and then took out nearly all the others which you had to, but got stuck on the final bloke cos backup in helicopters came. Anyone know what do to when you get to that stage?

Anyone know what do to when you get to that stage? Does it? I don't remember that Would equipping yourself with an RPG to take down the helicopter work? Btw you can get loads of help here

Anyone know what do to when you get to that stage? Just get some cover and keep shootin'! I did this first time. It was easy. Missions in GTA are easier if you are prepared. Get yourself a bullet-proof vest and stack up on ammo. Strange though 'cos in the first weapons dealer shop you go to, the guy in there started shootin' at me, so I took out my shotgun and took him out. The second weapons dealer is a lot nicer. He's a peaceful chap. So I go there now.
