A-block

Anyone see it kick off in there today? Its about the last place I'd have sat normally, but it ended up getting pretty heated in there.

About 20-25 Wednesday fans in the executive boxes, perhaps more, all went mental whenever they scored. After the 2nd goal some fatty got abused and a bit manhandled, the police came up and the Wednesday fans got locked in their boxes. lol

On an even better note, the atmosphere was decent even in A and the steward there was absolutely brilliant, honestly a fantastic bloke. I'm actually going to e-mail the club raving about him.

I was sitting right behind the academy lads and we all wondered what was going on up there. There was a shit load of police around.

After the 2nd went in practically the entire block stood up, turned round and started hurling abuse at them. You know the atmosphere's improved when that happens in the West Stand. :D

I was sat quite near a couple of Weds fans half way up A Block, to be fair to them they were sitting on their hands when they scored but a couple of our fans worked out they were Wednesday, and I think it was a bit lucky they didn't come back out after half time. Some of the behaviour of the Weds fans in the exec boxes was a bit hard to take but I'm not sure riot police was completely necessary!!

Saw no end of stewards/police in a line running to places.

Also saw a wednesday fan coming out of the family stand with his fists in the air celebrating.

At half-time there was a fight in the concourse in the Family Stand. There were loads of police down there.

I thought the atmosphere was fantastic down there today, if only we could say the same about the team

wednesday fans are ****s... gutless ****s. A car full was next to me giving me abuse as we puled off form the lights on soar vally way. I detoured and followed them. got out the car at the lights ant the driver bottled it by fosse park by driving through a red light. I'm all for support but getting personal over football deserves a kicking.

Grow up you idiot. It's what some supporters do. Accept it! Still, something to talk about at school on Monday eh!

When i was walking up from the stadium to my car.... A car full of Sheff Weds fans pulled up waving there flags around, singing 1-0 and you fooked it up.... Up the owls.... The red mist came over and i really could see myself diving through the window and drop kicking all of them in one swift move!!!

But whats it going to resolve..... I only reacted with a " fook off you Cnuts" I usually hate that word, but it was reserved for them....

Fighting is for weak people, i have never been one to gloat that much... i am a firm believer that it comes back to bite you right where it hurts!!!

I was one of those Sheffield Wednesday fans in the boxes. Honestly, we came in peace but this was a huge game for both sides so feelings were always going to run high.

Your crowd in front of us quickly worked out who we were and when the goal went in we got plenty of baiting, and more on top when we missed the pen. So it was not surprising we jumped up when the equaliser we never saw coming went in. That didn't go down well with block A, but your stewards were fantastic, and calmed everyone down. At half time everything was peaceful and I was chatting to one or two of your fans with no problem.

But when the second went in, it was a different matter. The reaction from A-block was OTT, but in fairness one or two of our fans further down reacted and wound the situation up. That's when LCFC fans started coming over the barrier and the riot police moved in.

The less said about the nasty exchanges the better. But as I have some good friends who are city fans, two of whom came to our box at hillsborough this seson when you won 2-0 (they had no problems) just let me say this in all sincerity. I really hope you stay up and Southampton take the drop. I think you're going to do it, and I'll be watching for your result against Stoke. Good luck City.
