Corky Posted 25 August 2008 Posted 25 August 2008 I'm lobbing a poster in the rear window because unless it's a man with a bottle of rohypnol and a tube of lube I don't care what's behind me. I'm right behind you Nige but not in that way
demon_dog Posted 27 August 2008 Posted 27 August 2008 Driver! Any chance of calling in at Harrods on the way? My wife has asked me to get her a silk scarf. Do you think they sell ones with LCFC on?

My wife has asked me to get her a silk scarf. Do you think they sell ones with LCFC on? a) No b) She doesn't need another one c) No, they don't Solution: stop at a petrol station on the way home, buy her some Quality Street and a cheap bunch of carnations. She'll be thrilled.

Dr The Singh Posted 29 August 2008 Posted 29 August 2008 I'd be well annoyed if Carl if he got me some naff chocs and some flowers, especially now petrol stations sell wine. I would be annoyed aswell, he knows I don't like flowers!!!
Guest Posted 29 August 2008 Posted 29 August 2008 I would be annoyed aswell, he knows I don't like flowers!!! He wants to know what you did with the last lot.
Corky Posted 29 August 2008 Posted 29 August 2008 Could we put some better music on please Daggers, like Chelsea Dagger? *pleads to be let off bus after thorough kicking-in*
Dr The Singh Posted 29 August 2008 Posted 29 August 2008 He wants to know what you did with the last lot. I gave them to Mrs Singh and she threw them in my face, calling me a cheap bastard for buying cheap flowers!!! It's the thought that counts, I suppose!!!
demon_dog Posted 29 August 2008 Posted 29 August 2008 How about if I pinched the flowers from the training ground. There not needed now are they? or Did a certain Martin Allen take them with him to placate his wife after being sacked? Were they Blue and White? My wife isn't keen on Quality Street, do you think Raj would let me have some of his cheap perfume?
Zingari Posted 13 September 2008 Posted 13 September 2008 Just cancelling out some of the negativity! it didn't work
Foxhateram Posted 13 September 2008 Posted 13 September 2008 We need some bloody positivity and optimism on this bloody thread! How people can people be so fickle? i cannot understand! We have picked up 10 points from 5 games, that aint bloody bad. Millwall are a good side, and are going to be challenging with us and probably leeds at the top of the league. Heads up ffs!!! Cant stand the way negativity looms over this palce after one sub-par performance. We all have our off days, and as a team, sometimes the ball just doesnt fall for you. It's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. Get over it and get behind the lads for the next game. Professionalism guys we should do it as fans too Some people just love monaing. AOWW Pint?
Tilley Posted 13 September 2008 Posted 13 September 2008 I'll be optimistic here, Maybe in a strange way, it was better to lose now, rather than carry the, 'unbeaten' tag on our backs for a while to add to the pressure. Obviously it would have been better to have won today, but I'm sure you can see what I'm getting at.
AoWW Posted 13 September 2008 Posted 13 September 2008 <lots of valid points>AOWW Pint? Have you ever known me to turn down a drink?!

Ten from five's less impressive when you consider we're we're six points off the pace after month one. Games in hand are just that - they're a guarantee of nothing especially if we're going to get all uptight as a team whenever we go a goal down.

Fair point, but from what i have heard about todays game. Millwall had a game plan that worked. They were going to be physical to scare the shite out of our wingers (who are young and inexperianced and are easily scared) and they were going to scrap and battle for every ball as soon as one of our players touched the ball. Its a game plan that worke3d well, it is now upto NP to get us more physical and teaching the team different ways to attack rather then us being very limited. However i think we can blame this one on the ruffle up of the international games. We will come out in the next game fired up and ready to go again. I think we will win that game in hand, Colchester are poor atm. Which would leave us 3 points behind top spot, and would put us second as the league stands atm. We are doing alright, we just need to settle now, and get going again. HEADS UP! (I am a manager, unfortunatly to be a manager optimism has to be installed into your brain.)
Daggers Posted 13 September 2008 Author Posted 13 September 2008 Your bus? Damn right. S'my bloody bus.

Because some morons thought we'd wrapped up this league after the first four matches, expecting us to win 4-0 every match, as though the other team was there to help us on our way. I knew some would over-react, you listen to the Moan-In on Monday night.
Daggers Posted 13 September 2008 Author Posted 13 September 2008 Yes. "I'll give you my bus keys when you take it from my cold, dead hands!"
