Phube Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 we should win the ldv vans trophy and total 100 points in the league easilly
Moreton Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Discuss. I think we should, why not? A trip to wembly, It's gonna be great.
Simi Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Seriously, please read the forum before posting. It's killing me.
Dames Posted 5 May 2008 Author Posted 5 May 2008 Seriously, please read the forum before posting. It's killing me. Yeah but this saves me more time
Webbo Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I think we should play the kids like Arsenal do in the league cup. PS As our resident decorating expert I'd just like to say Johnstones paint is not bad for the price.
Simi Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Yeah but this saves me more time But it makes me want to kill myself. So many duplicate threads, but not one about switching the Kop.
Dames Posted 5 May 2008 Author Posted 5 May 2008 But it makes me want to kill myself. So many duplicate threads, but not one about switching the Kop. That can be arranged?
Simi Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 That can be arranged? At your peril mate! Back on topic (again) I don't think we'll win it, no.
Tommeh Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 we should win the ldv vans trophy and total 100 points in the league easilly Just the sort of attitude which will fook us up next season. Division 3 will not be a doddle nor will this trophy, our fans really need to realise this.
The Stig Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 It's a very cold thread. Most teams find THEY HAVE TO PUT ON ANOTHER COAT lol lol lol lol I apologise.
C-man Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 If we took it seriously we could. But would it be embarrasing to turn up to Wembley and win the JPT when 9 years ago we were the envy of most Premier League clubs by winning at Wembley? Sorry, that's too negative! I'd love to win it There's always room in our trophy cabinet!
Koke Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 If we took it seriously we could. I'd love to win it There's always room in our trophy cabinet! I know it's a bit arrogant but that's how I'm thinking too. I don't wanna win this bloody cup.
LCFC2007 Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 If we keep the team that we have got now then I think we will piss all over league 1 and the johnstones paint trophy. CUM ON LADS SHOW US WHAT YOU CAN DO!!!!
kyleolly Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 im sorry for trying to be slightly positive Tommeh but my attitude towards league 1 and the tin pot trophy will not effect what happens on the pitch will it
Dames Posted 5 May 2008 Author Posted 5 May 2008 In my opinion it would be a bit of a laugh and a confidence booster to win this cup. Nothing wrong with winning things tbh.
SamL Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I'd rather win the League than do well in this cup. Although it would be nice to have a trip to Wembley, however unlikely. It all depends on who's our manager and how much money is spent in the summer.
Simi Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 We should go out to win it. Anybody that turns down a trip to Wembley in my opinion is crazy.
tartanowl Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 I refused to watch a single game of that 'trophy' when we were down there. It's a distraction from getting out of that league and a nonsense cup for small clubs. Winning promotion should be the most important thing for you next season. we should win the ldv vans trophy and total 100 points in the league easilly If you're being serious then you're in for a shock.
LeicesterDon Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 'I think we should play the kids like Arsenal do in the league cup.' You're not allowed...the Football League Trophy (JPT) rules state that you have to play a minimum of 7 players who have played 75% of the league games. Failure to do so could result in punishment by the football league. The JPT isn't that bad, winning a cup like that spurred us (MK Dons) to want to achieve more in the season and win the title! The JPT could be a blessing in disguise and restore the winning mentality for Leicester City! The carrot of a trip to Wembley will also entice all the 'armchair supporters' back to watching Leicester
Danglo Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I don't wanna win this tin pot trophy. you have about as much ambition as our players
