Hammster Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Lets do the double. Come on. Please. Oh god another season of crap.
thecannon Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I think its realistic! We'll be the favourites anyway for both of them!!!!!
MPH Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 i'm really struggling to contain my excitement.... the thing i am really excited about is, for the first time in our history we will have to start the FA cup from the first round.. now if that isnt a kick in the gonads i dont know what is...

I'm guessing you have never been kicked in the gonads? I have. It wasn't nice. I'm thinking that going to Kettering Town will be altogether more pleasurable.
act smiley Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I really hope we get a fun away game at a non league side for the first round.
Number 6 Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 I really hope we get a fun away game at a non league side for the first round. york?
Ibbyfox Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 isn't it the FA trophy now? FA Trophy is specifically for non-league clubs. We're not that bad ......................................yet!!
Corky Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Football League Trophy Part of me wants to win it, it's a trophy at the end of the day, but the other part of me doesn't, because that tosser Mawhinney would hand over the trophy. He makes my skin crawl
Maybes Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Let's win some games first! Here here. It seems the majority think we will walk the league. I see that being quite difficult for team that couldn't win back to back games all season. However having said that I am optismistic and I hoping for top 6.
Staf Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Forget about cups i will be happy to go up in second place as long as we go up as for the JPT i actually dont care about it unless we get to Wembley
LCFCUSA Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 If the club wants something to put in the display case, they should come over here on tour and make up some crap tournament. Seemed to work for the Galaxy on their China tour, they won some two-bit trophy they made up for it and seemed happy. Pleased their supporters for a while too. I'd take Leicester winning the 'BK Loaded Steakhouse Trophy'... maybe..
josedob Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 york? Heck, I'd fly over there for that one....well.....maybe not - but on my family's holiday to the UK this year the wife and I went to the City/Barnsley match and a York/Torquey match .... sad to say - but the atmosphere at the KitKat was a little more engaging. Granted we were sitting in section A1 at the Walkers vs. standing in the York terrace....

chichestergas Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 isn't it the FA trophy now? Do you have any concept of what division you have entered?
lavrentis Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Do you have any concept of what division you have entered? To be fair, we have never been this far low in the English leagues.
chichestergas Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 To be fair, we have never been this far low in the English leagues. Its not that bad down here.
Maybes Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 To be fair, we have never been this far low in the English leagues. I couldnt really tell you who is entered into the Paint Trophy or whatever it is called these days. I know league one and league two teams are and maybe some conference, and there is a south and north split?

Just a north and south split. all league 1 and 2 teams.
Maybes Posted 6 May 2008 Posted 6 May 2008 Just a north and south split. all league 1 and 2 teams. What would leicester be in? I take it the winners of the north play the winners of the south in the 'main' final?
