It was a great era for our club. I thought it would never end. All throughout school I had the playoff finals to look forward to and then, while at uni, I used to rub it in when we'd got yet another result against a so-called big club. Good years.

And now people take the piss far too easily.

Shame really.

Was 7 Wembleys and I went to 4 of them!! You have to call them our glory years, although I reckon people didn't appreciate the run we were having at the time - wouldn't have dreamed us being in the 3rd Division inside 10 years or MON leaving.

First post guys, so go easy!!

I think you'll find it was only 6 Wembley trips!

Four playoff finals and two league cups.

Four playoff finals and three league cups. You've forgotten Spurs.

Welcome anyway! :D

Well we may not get another 10 years like that but one thing you can't deny is that Leicester always produce exciting seasons, at one end of the table or another:

01/02: relegated from prem

02/03: promoted from division 1 (championship)

03/04: relegated from prem

04/05: survive in championship relegation fight

05/06: survive in championship relegation fight

06/07: just survive in championship relegation fight

07/08: relegated from championship

08/09: promoted from league 1? :P

This may be the worst side we've ever had but we're still in exciting times. I can't remember the last time we had nothing to play for at the end of the season

Bloody hell, our fans have been through it :o

In the last 3 years I'd have loved a 'mid-table nothing to play for' finish, the relegation battles have been painful. On the flipside, Cov fans used to moan that their team always finished 13th or 14th in the top flight and it was getting boring. Careful what you wish for.....
